Unfortunately, we were woken several times overnight one night by ships’ foghorns as they passed by- every few hours. Even the white noise machines (a thoughtful touch) didn’t help. "Stayed here with my 84 year old father and 4 teenagers. Dad enjoyed his space on the entry level, which also had it own half bath and thermostat. The rest of us had plenty of room upstairs. The location was great. We were able to get to our family in Wilmington in 20 minutes. The river park was merely a 5 minute walk away and the teenagers enjoyed it very much.....I felt it was safe enough for them to walk by themselves. "Well they have you sign bunch of papers and you dont understand what he is saying to you since talks so fast and English not first language then take additional $100 from credit card that will be returned. They never returned mine for what reason I have none nor was I sent anything explaining why it wasn't returned. I did nothing but spend the night quietly by myself. "

"Foxtail house is a comfortable, spacious and peaceful retreat. Located on a stunning section of tidal river you will find yourself mesmerized by the wildlife, bird song and the play of light on the marsh grasses.
