"Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. "

"Nous avons sejourne 34 jours chez sharon et chris du 3 dec 2023 au 6 jan 2024. Le logement etait propre et fonctionel. Ce logement tres bien situe est a 10 minutes de marche du centre ville de roseau. Nous avons vraiment apprecier nos hotes car en plus de nous offrir le transport au port a l arrivee et au depart, ils repondaient a toutes nos questions et nous informaient des activites. En plus, ils nous ont inviter a partager leurs repas a noel et au jour de l an. Vraiment un couple merveilleux....

"We are very happy with our home away from home while vacationing in Dominica. Leonard was very responsive from the questions we had before we booked until the end of our stay. He helped with taxi arrangements from the airport to recommending a car rental service. We arrived at the house in the evening and there was fresh bread, cheese, juice, bananas and some snacks to tide us over until we went to the grocery store. "Narrissa, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was very clean, big and comfortable. We loved the pool, which we had to ourselves. There was also a jacuzzi, which was turned on for us whenever we wanted. There was a bakery about a 5 minute walk away and you could walk to town of Roseau and botanical gardens in 10-15 minutes. There was private, free parking on the property. Very good value for money."

"The place did not have airconditioning but it did have several fans. This weather was perfect enough that aircon was not needed at night. "

"Want to watch sunsets and rainbows over the Caribbean from your back porch? Want to experience a spacious home in a friendly Dominican neighborhood? This property is a great choice! The host is a great communicator and very helpful. Thanks to him, we got a good deal on a rental car. He also helped us with restaurant and grocery store information."

"We had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the views and the birds. The decks were fabulous and there was plenty of space in the kitchen for multiple people. The host was easy to reach when needed and quick to respond. Thanks for helping making a memorable trip!"

"We loved our stay at the Sizo Cottage. The cottage is near the main road in the Roseau Valley, but it is also secluded and feels remote. The kitchen wide open to the rainforest valley is just a peaceful and harmonious way of living. We had everything we needed, cooked dinner every evening, had our breakfast in the morning, and went off exploring. Middleham Falls, Trafalgar Falls, Titou Gorge, Fresh Water Lake, all are nearby and convenient, as is Roseau. 10 our of 10, easy."

"New construction, immaculate interior, well-equipped. Excellent communication with host. Only issue, Google maps brought me to wrong property. As house is located high up on hill, with pleasant temp/breezes, which requires significant navigating along steep and winding streets I recommend not trying to check-in after dark. If you’re new to Dominica consider asking host to meet you lower down this longer drive-up from the coast. Do also recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the streets,...

"We stayed at the residence for two weeks and were fully satisfied. Everything we requested was provided. For example, I teach online classes and needed to access the internet during the time I was there. Since the outlets do not accommodate US. plugs, we were supplied with an electrical adapter that accommodated my laptop. The residence has a full kitchen and stove so we made most of our dinners which saved money. The area is close to the city of Roseau and is a very safe part of town. We...

"Beautiful location! So secluded and peaceful. Eveything was immacualte and exactly as described. Comfy bed, hot shower, washing machine, gas stove, full size fridge and freezer, beautiful patio. Would absolutely stay again without a doubt."
