"For the short time we were there, it was an excellent stay. The check in process was easy as well as communicating with the owner. I came down for a work trip and brought my family. The view is beautiful, the cottage was nice and bright during the day with the sun, it was nice and clean and had a well stocked kitchen. It was a nice touch that they had detergent, dryer sheets, dish soap, sponge and and soap for the bathroom. Its close to town and many other tourist spots. If we have a chance to...

"A very quiet and lovey spot to vacation. Close to several great beaches. Easy drive to Port Medway, Liverpool and Shelburne. Cottage is small but well equipped and a good size bathroom. The Loft ladder could be a challenge for anyone who has mobility or height issues. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed several meals and coffees on the deck watching boats and the seals. The host was pleasant and helpful and resides on the same property if any issues arise. Loved our visit and hope to return....

A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. "Amazing sunsets, daily visits from a family of deer, bright spacious surroundings, The Captain’s House has it all. It’s clean, quiet and welcoming. Thoughtfully designed & intentionally comfortable. A rare gem!"

"The hilltop retreat was perfect for us. We were looking for a place big enough and fully equipped to host a family gathering pre-Christmas. This was just right. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts have thought of everything. The house is cozy and beautiful. Great distance from town and beautiful views. We may make it an annual tradition. "

"Had my bday getaway with friends here it was awesome even in the winter. Says up to 6 guests and we had 5 and it was very crowded, not enoigh dinner table seats for everyone and living room seating was not for us all to sit and watch tv. Other than that it was great thoigh! "

"I will always have a place in my heart for this wonderful property. There is plenty of privacy and spectacular scenery. Alecia is responsive and kind. I loved our stay."

"We loved this property! So clean and just a beautiful location. We grilled a couple of nights and sat outside looking at the amazing view. The location was perfect to go into Lunenburg such a gorgeous city. We did love the keyless entry. We would recommend one hundred percent! "
