"Hotel Restaurant Sausa provides excellent value for money spent. The room was very clean with a refrigerator and a large bathroom with wall-in shower. It is not fancy, but it met our needs. There is a nice big pool and an on site restaurant, but we did not utilize either. This is a convenient base for day trips to Girona, Figueres, Besalu, and the Mediterranean coastal towns."

"Vi har bott här tre år i rad och det är ett av våra absoluta favorit hotell. Det enda lilla minuset är kanske att menyn är lite begränsad till 2 olika förrätter och 2 olika varmrätter, men det vägs upp av personalens den underbara personalen. Vi är alltid på genomresa påväg till eller från Spanien och har svårt att utnyttja den härliga poolen och den vackra miljön då vi oftast kommer på kvällen och måste åka vidare relativt tidigt nästa morgon. "We were a group of eight couples, all over 50, coming from the United States. Our stay for nine nights was tremendous. We had high expectations, and our expectations were either met or exceeded. It's rare to find a house and property in this area offering so many amenities -- including eight ensuite bedrooms (all with king beds) plus an additional(!) five bathrooms. We used the pool and padel tennis court everyday (and some nights, too). Marc Rosset was a terrific host, always checking in on us...

"Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie (7 Personen zwischen 26-68 Jahre) dort und hatten dort ein schönes altes Domizil mit reichlich Platz und vielen Plätzen zum Zurückziehen. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, der Gastgeber angenehm zurückhaltend und das (alte) Haus ist sehr sauber. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und auf jedem Zimmer gab es neben frischen Handtüchern auch Seifenspender, Shampoo und gut riechende Bettwäsche. "We had an amazing stay. It catered for all our needs and the views were stunning. Our two children aged 13 and 10 loved the animals, particularly feeding the numerous bunnies every morning. The outdoor play space was great. Lots of fun was had on the trampoline and the indoor games room exceeded expectations. The beds were comfy and the accommodation was clean with a very well equipped kitchen. It was too cold to use the pool area but that was also beautiful. We had a wonderful week exploring...

"Wonderfull holiday home on a private terrain. Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family...
