"My stay at the Cottages at Laurel Brooke was wonderful. I wasn't in the cottage 10 minutes and I found myself taking pictures of the whole place (down to the Sumatra Coffee pods I love and drink at home) and texting them to my wife to brag on the place. My entire 4 day weekend stay was peaceful and incredibly comfortable. The pillowtop bed was fantastic! I am disabled, have a $5k bed at home, and NEVER get good sleep in a hotel. I travel with my own $300 mattress topper anytime I travel by car....

The home is such a welcoming place with a big covered area in front with rocking chairs that always stays so cool, and a huge deck that wraps around the side and the entire back of the house with plenty of seating. "We had a great time at Lara’s Chateau. From booking to check out was a great experience. Lara was available any time I called her. A/C was not working in one part of the home and within a couple of hours she had someone out to fix it. We had 30 adults and children and there was plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. Pool table was a hit with the kids and adults. We had 11 vehicles plenty of parking spaces available. The only thing we missed was an outdoor area...

"So quiet!! Great place to unplug and unwind. House is very comfortable and well maintained. Loved the setting. Located at the end of a road bordering FDR State Park. Callaway Gardens is nearby which offers seasonal events. Decent array of places to eat in several neighboring towns. "

"We had an excellent vacation. The house is amazing. Very large and very peaceful. Everything we needed was available. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!"
