"We loved the house, it was so cozy and cute. The best part was that it was so tucked away it felt like you were surrounded by nothing. All you could hear outside was the birds chirping and the trees rustling in the wind, very tranquil as my partner said. We LOVED the wood burning fireplace inside it made it that much more cozy and relaxing. Great winter getaway when you are just looking for a break from everything. "

"This clean, modern, well stocked home was located directly on Lake Huron with a beautiful sandy beach leading into the lake. Our family spent a few days playing in the water, and our evenings were spent sitting around the fire pit while listening to the waves crash and looking up at the stars. This property could not possibly have been more relaxing for our family vacation that included two kids and a set of grandparents. There is no reason not to book this property and we are already trying to...

"The house was great, with beautiful views of the water and great location. You can swim in the water but we did find small leaches on my daughters when they were done. House was very clean and spacious. They only had recliners to sit in and the beds were a little uncomfortable. Overall it was a decent place to stay with family."

"The pictures are very accurate. We had a friendly Peacock stay on the porch overnight with us. The owner told us he is a friendly neighborhood Peacock that stays at different places along the shore. The property is a duplex and the other side was occupied during our stay. The views on the lake, even while frozen, were amazing. The house faces west so you will be treated to amazing sunsets."

"Very clean and cozy. Stocked with wood and games so we could relax and just enjoy the weekend. We parked and didn't leave. A cabin. "

"My wife and I were incredibly pleased with how clean and adorable, Northern Memories is. With its very private setting, jacuzzi for two and the fireplace, this cabin is the perfect place to rest, relax and reconnect. The fenced in yard is another huge plus that just sets Northern Memories above anything else. On top of all that, your hosts, April and Charlie do an amazing job of making you feel welcomed. We HIGHLY recommend it and will be visiting again!"
