"While surveying Athens, GA by hot air balloon in 1896, I decided to stay the night in 2025 in Madison, Ga at the Sleep Inn. Excellent parapets. More walk-in cooler space for activities. No lingering supernatural phenomena. Would stay again. "

"It snowed the weekend we were there, but still enjoyed going down to the barn to spend time with the horses. They are amazing. Disappointed by the breakfast/meals that were included. We couldn't go far because of the snow, so we were limited and the meals were disappointing. Thank God they had snacks !!! The cook/ kitchen manager appeared to not want to be there and it was evident in the food she served and her general attitude (unwelcoming)."

"Please make it more useable for electric outlets to charge other things other than cars. The hotel was clean and great to stay. If you needed to charge your batteries it was hard to do that for a boat etc."

"Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement."

"If you have a chance come to this beautiful little town. The remodeled motor court is special. It was so beautiful all lit up for Christmas, it look like a mo ie set. If we come this way again we will definitely stop again. "

"Upon our very late arrival, we were still eagerly greeted by who I believe to be the owner. He was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was efficient, clean and all we needed for a quick over night stay. The room was in a safe neighborhood. We did not have breakfast, as we left around 6:15 am. I have no complaints about our stay and it was worth the money that we paid. I would stay again for a short term visit."

"We love the country setting of the property. Mike was a awesome host and we enjoyed his company and down to earth conversations. We are looking forward to staying here again. Great job Mike!"

"The house was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed was there and the house has great views of the lake. The back deck is huge and is an awesome spot for everyone to hang out and relax. We are already making plans to visit Lake Oconee and stay with Karen again. "

"Was very clean and had wonderful old cottage charm. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We saw deer, chipmunks, a rabbit and varius birds including hummingbirds."

"The room was clean, but had a very musty smell to it. It was a “non smoking” room, but the rooms around it must have been smoking rooms because I could smell smoke from time to time. The towels were very thin and the stopper in the tub did not work. The next morning, the cable was out for awhile and when it came back on was only working for the network channels."

"The staircase is very wobbly and is a liability to the owner. All else could not have been better. "

"House was great for our young family. Swimming from the dock with the variety of floats we’re great 2nd year in a row."

"This is a beautiful, quiet location in a cove of the lake. Home is as listed and had everything we needed. Kids loved the upstairs they had all to themselves and a relaxing downstairs space and office was great for the adults too. "
