"Was very disappointed in our room. We’ve been staying at the lodge for more than a decade and this room did not have a jacuzzi bath tub, even though every single other time we’ve stayed there we’ve had one. Also, the new floors were very unwelcoming and not cozy/homey. We love everything about the Scandinavian lodge otherwise, we’re just very disappointed in that particular room. No outlets on the sides of the bed to charge phones. "

"I love Westwood Shores but they recently installed new ceiling fans which are controlled solely by remote. The problem is that other unit's remote controls affected the fans/lights in our unit. Lights were coming off and on as was fan due to another guest trying to adjust their ceiling fan/light. Love the look of the fans but something needs to be done about the remote function. Otherwise, nothing but wonderful things to say about Westwood Shores. "

"My wife and I stayed here at the end of January 2025, was a great little place, mostly quiet (at that time of year), nice amenities nearby (indoor pool, hot tub, fireplace in the common area, etc), ice machine was fairly difficult to find (establishment should put up some directions/instructions), but overall it was a peaceful, relaxing weekend for the two of us.
