"We loved staying at The Grove. The location is beautiful, the home is architecturally interesting, and there is plenty of space to relax. Kristin was excellent with communication, too."

"It's a beautiful property. You can grab decent food on your way in off of I-5. Check in is super easy. Mike and Stephany are wonderful to deal with, and super accommodating. Very affordable place to lay your head, as long as you understand what a dry cabin is and prepare. Definitely recommended and will be back! "

"Property is beautiful, and very spacious. Your own quite corner with visually stunning views down into the Santiam river. Inside and out was clean and plenty of opportunities for professional photos, which we used as our wedding reception venue."

"The house was lovely, modern, clean. My second trip to the cabins. I love it here, so brought my family this time. We loved the common outdoor area by the river and spent many happy hours there together. The Forest Service accross the highway was so helpful and the nearby trails were beautiful.Our last night at the Obsidian Grill and General Store was fantastic with live music, great food and such a perfect mix of locals, fellow travelers and super cute canines. "This really is a river haven. Unbelievable location that prioritizes river views and sounds. This place has almost everything you'll need: a well-stocked kitchen, linens, towels, washer/dryer, and a fireplace. A note on the fireplace: you'll probably want to get a firestarter kit and a duraflame log from the local market. The wood was pretty stubborn to burn, and we aren't sure if it was the wood or the fireplace that was the problem. In any csse, we were able to get the fire going with the...

"As soon as we walked in we felt relaxed. House was clean and tastefully decorated. Anytime we needed something, ie., bottle opener, French press, etc., we reached for it and it was there! The deck is where we spent a lot of our time especially on cool mornings. We enjoyed our stay and liked how it was 10 minutes or so from town. We hope to return and had a great trip due to being able to return to our awesome space to regroup and rest!!! Highly recommend the space!"

"First time staying in Cabin 9, and it was perfect all around. I obviously love the area with the natural sounds, beauty, attractions and happy people.This cabin was arranged better and had a great reading chair with light and very nice screen porch furniture. When I stayed till the last minute, I met the owner coming to clean their own place. Nice, Thanks."

"The cabin was clean and well-organized. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. It doesn't impact me, but the walk from the parking area might be difficult for older or less mobile people. Also, the exterior of the property is very dark, so arrivals after sunset would be a challenge. "
