"We booked this adorable tiny house for a few days as a stopping/resting spot for a wedding we went to in Arkansas-just to break up the drive. The house is just as pictured, wonderfully decorated, supplied, and clean. But, there really is no reason to stay inside when you can sit on the back patio and look over at the beautiful lake, trees, and animal life. We would have spent the entire trip on the patio if the rain had allowed. It is one of the most peaceful, secluded homes we have ever stayed...

"The cabin was nice as was the area where it's located. It was stocked with everything you could ask for, dishes, towels, flatware, even coffee and we liked it a lot except for 2 things... the Internet was very slow and spotty. It seemed to do okay with the TV and our phones, but once the laptop was connected, all internet service stopped. This was the same for all three days we were there. Also, it might be helpful if one of the Uncle Joe's Creek Retreat signs were placed at the actual entrance...

"This little cabin is nice, quiet, and comfortable. "

"We need a place to stay the night because we had a doctor appointment the next day. We arrive around 4:30 got settled quickly and ran to town to grab some dinner. The unit Ruby was clean, comfortable, and close to town. Internet was quick, we had two phones, two iPads, and a lap top all on at the same time. We would definitely stay again. "

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. The only recommendations I would make is a television in the master bedroom (I have to sleep with the TV on) and a hot tub on the porch viewing the mountains. We'll be back!"

"Perfect place to disconnect and de-stress. Views are incredible. Very private. Excellent accommodations, the deck and grill area are perfect and the bed is very comfy. I slept so well. Visit Robber Cave state park for a day trip, it's beautiful out there."

"We had a short weekend getaway with family and our kids. This property is built with kids in mind. Before we even got unpacked they had their fishing poles out and were at the pond. They caught tons of small perch and had the best time. The zip line was a huge hit as well. The fire pit area was great for some late night smores! Inside was comfortable and perfect for everyone. The game consoles were a blast for the kids. Parents if your looking for some relaxation this is the place. Let the kids...

"Wonderful location to Sardis lake-right across the street and down a short walkable trail. Host was constantly available by phone, but we really had everything we could need for a nice, quiet weekend. Enjoyed Sardis and Clayton lake while there. We will be back!"

"The cottage at River Bird Lodge was excellent. It's very nice, clean, well appointed. It's great for a couple or a small family. The cottage layout has a bedroom and common living area with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is not always the case. It sits on a large property with a lot of woods to explore, as well as the river. This time of year the river is pretty low, so you can easily access the riverbed.. Niki was very responsive and easy to work with. I gave only 4 stars...
