"For a cheap motel in a small town, this was about as good as it gets. Clean carpet, comfortable bed with clean sheets and good pillows, lots of clean towels. The bathroom sink and countertop were brand new (unexpected)....the toilet and bathtub were old but entirely adequate. The window curtains were ripped and the AC unit looked like it was on its last legs but worked well. Quiet overnight, big breakfast offered (though standard continental stuff, and not all of it fresh). Overall, slept great...

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."

"We liked everything about RubyJune Inn. We were given fun things to see close by... a great path to the White Salmon River. Breakfast excellent and just what we wanted was a quiet place to stay in White Salmon! "

"Nice clean place and easy to walk to restaurants. Only con for me was no TV in the living space, only in one bedroom….like I said, not everyone would think this was a con. Other con was furniture wasn’t that comfy, but very nice."

"Property was clean, well maintained and hosts were available without being at all intrusive. Wonderfully located on the river with a beautiful deck, this was a perfect peaceful getaway. There is nothing to do here except relax, enjoy the river/deck and rest, which is exactly why we were there. Strong internet connection was a plus. Access to the river was available and if you're into fishing/floating the river, this location is perfect for that."

"Property was amazing, directions were spot on and it was beautiful. The spiral staircase was tight and definitely not kid friendly. The bathroom upstairs and showered were great!!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this small, but organized cabin home. My dog had lots of room to run and play and we were close to many great hikes and trails. "

"MY husband and I have stayed at The Little House On The Hill twice now. We definitely will stay there again. The area is so beautiful, and quiet. It is in a rural area, which suited us well. Katie, the host is great. We enjoyed talking with her on our arrival. The place is so comfortable, and Katie thought of everything to make our stay just right. We look forward to staying there again."

"Views were incredible, but you had to climb three flights of stairs to get to the unit. The unit is very clean, but very bare bones. There was no hairdryer and we needed extra towels, but upon notifying management, they were quick to respond and bring us some. It was also odd that the only TV was in one of the bedrooms. It would’ve been fun to watch movies together in the evening."

"The Farmhouse in White Salmon was lovely! Great communication with the host, easy check-in. We were only there for less than 12 hours, but enjoyed the cleanliness and amenities of the VRBO. Lots of the restaurants in town were closed on the Monday night that we stayed in White Salmon, but we got a great pizza right down the street. Best little wine bar right next door to the VRBO. Would stay again! "

"Ernesto and Marcela’s place was in pristine conditions, their response was always fast and polite, and location couldn’t be better. We will definitely consider coming back to admire the Gorge’s view from their guest house. Our only suggestion is to switch to softer pillows or have an alternative to choose from. Lorena . "
