"Nice budget friendly part of the world in South part of the big Island. Very neat and tidy accommodation. Good bed. Quiet place. Access to punaluhulu black sand beach for an easy walk to see the turtles. Staff friendly. It is dated but def neat and tidy and we could have stayed an extra couple of nights. Worth the stop. "

"Property was amazing! The view was breathtaking, definitely would love to come back sometime."

"What a cool location on a lava flow! Our first time staying in an off-grid VRBO/container home and had no issues, all the comforts of home! Home was very clean and organized and included amenities. Be aware it is a remote location, but that was part of the draw for us. Stargazing was also phenomenal. Communication was great. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful home and beautiful views! The "backyard" was full of yellow tangs, the resident turtle, and spinner Dolphins almost every morning. Snorkeling out back was challenging with a hurricane in the Pacific (waves were very kicked up, the surfers loved it), but we did get out the last few days and it was amazing. "This home was perfect for my husband and I for our honeymoon. The views are gorgeous and every sunset is breathtaking! Great spot for fishing as well! The adults that needed to go downstairs were hot without air conditioning and no windows to open for air circulation. The ended up opening the door to the available garage to try and get air to circulate. The only suggestion I have is to install AC in bedrooms to night sleeping. "

"This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. It is a drive from bigger areas but, we travelled most of the island so it was kinda in the middle. Would definitely stay there again"

"This home was even nicer than it appeared in the listing photos. The decks are enormous and provide an ocean view as well as a hillside view. This house is the last house on the road so the view across the hillside is unobstructed. The neighborhood beach is across the street and we never saw more than 3 or 4 people on it. "This is a beautiful, spacious country side property. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a complete spice rack, olive oil, some coffee, sweetener packets and creamer. Liked the 2 queen beds (one sofa bed) and a king. Most places here have full instead of queen. Bath was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Shower floor was non-slip.
