"Rooms starting to show their age. No shelf space in the bathroom and very little space around the basin. Pillows too soft. Sofa beds do not make comfortable couches in a "deluxe suite" No toasters in the rooms and the excuse for this is not acceptable. Restaurant at the Governors is overrated. Breakfast in the dining space is very good but the staff are all young backpackers who would rather be somewhere else. "We were return visitors to Norfolk Island as it is one of our favourite holiday destinations. We love the scenery and the very relaxed feel of the Island. The locals make you feel most welcome. The shopping is not as comprehensive as it used to be but still has a very interesting variety of goods to choose from. Unfortunately the roads have deteriorated significantly and dodging the potholes is a test of a drivers skills. A shame really as a hire car is a necessary component of a holiday on...

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little stuffy. Hot water was sometimes difficult to get working. I was disappointed the weekly meet and greet advertised was not on because it was a quiet period. But thanks for the drinks voucher!"

"This property is well situated for walking into town for meals and shopping. It is a little tired,the showers don't work to well, but the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to self cater, and the beds were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful."
