"Stoney Creek Hotel saved the day. We came to St. Joseph, Missouri to see the Mosaic Mural art installation for my grandsons 10th birthday. For reasons unknown to us, the art work was missing the section that my grandson participated in. After a 5 hour drive across 2 States, we were all tired and cranky. "The thing I didn't like is that. I specifically asked if they serve gravy in the mornings. Because I was looking for a hotel that did that so I was expecting. With a breakfast, but that wasn't true. But other than that, everything was really great.And can't complain"

"Perfect location, right on the river. We caught channel catfish off the boat ramp. Public boat ramp worked great for our big boat- 2 miles away. Ac worked great as it was super hot!"

"The view of the river was wonderful. The fire pit with wood was really great! This is a duplex and we were on the side closest to the parking. The people staying on the other side had to walk back and forth in front of our windows or behind us if we were sitting outside. That was very awkward. Owner was not flexible about arrival and departure times. "

"The area is full of large stately homes from the heyday of St Joe. It was pretty quiet at night but close to some nice restaurants and shops. Really easy to get anywhere within St Joe. We enjoyed a walk along the boulevard system - a 5 min drive and dinner at the Frederick Inn (3 minutes). We were here to visit family. "
