"Stayed with three generations of family for New Years Eve. The house was wonderful for both the youngest and the oldest. We were 5 adults, 5 children and 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms are super spacious with so much closet space, which really helped keeping the kids organized. The kitchen was amazing for big family meal preparations! They had everything we needed to cook for 12!I also have to say after staying at several Norris lake vacation homes that the road to this...

"We stay at a lot of VRBO's and AriBnB's and this was by far one of the nicest, cleanest, well stocked places we have ever been. They have thought of everything as the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The pictures don't do justice. We went for Thanksgiving and also celebrated Christmas as well with our 6 kids and grandchildren. They went over and above and put up a Christmas tree for us so we could celebrate with our kids. "This property is exactly as it is described and shared in photos. The only thing that is not portrayed in the listing is the peace an calm that you feel walking into the property with soft lighting, soft music playing, the water feature gently bubbling. Freshly baked treats, fresh flowers and a lighted sign with our name welcoming us to the home is such a nice touch. We were first time VRBO renters and I'm sure this experience will be extremely hard to top. There really isn't anything I can add...

"We were in Kingsport to visit relatives and needed a place to stay. This house was clean, comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We didn’t need to cook, so I can’t speak to that. The only negative I have to say is that the air freshener was too strong when we first got there. It made us wonder if it was going to smell bad when it wore off but it didn’t. The house didn’t need it. I’d definitely stay here again and just ask the host to hold the air freshener. "

"Great cabin with a wonderful view! "

"What a wonderful time we had staying at this home. It had all the space we needed for our large family. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porches, hot tub, pool table room, and large kitchen/great room. We had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing week. One tiny nitpick…the dock was covered in spiders. We aren’t sure if this is common for Cherokee Lake or how this problem could even be remedied and it didn’t keep us from enjoying the lake but it was a tad creepy. Otherwise this...

"Black Dog Lake House was exactly as advertised. A nice property located in a secluded cove on Norris Lake. Well appointed, with separate living spaces for the adults and our teen son (who had the downstairs 'man cave' to himself). We really enjoyed the visit!"

"Short walk to boat and Marina. Great location. "

"Anna was very responsive in all our needs for the property while we were the for Labor Day weekend. The dock on the lake is really nice and large. My only feedback is that the towels provided for showering were quite small, but besides that we enjoyed our time at the house!"
