"All of the staff here are friendly and helpful as could be. The AC in the room worked great (and was quite necessary with the heat) and the fan on the terrace was a nice feature as well. Some people don't like the noise from the Barefoot Bar next door, but with the AC on at night we could barely hear anything from there. "Our group of 8 had a wonderful time at Casa del Sol. The home is in an excellent location with great views and is located next to the Placencia Beach Club, which was a bonus. It was great to have a private pool at the home and use of the kayaks/paddleboard to go exploring. The host kept in communication with us leading up to our stay and while we were there. Thank you for a great stay in Placencia!"

"We had a marvelous day with delicious meals cooked by chef Juan. Kelly and Marvin took care of the house and all of our needs. Really enjoyed our visit. Only item of note is the distance from Placencia is further than we had expected, not really a golf cart right away, requiring more cabs than we had expected."

"This new building was a great stay. No issues with the place. Owners were very responsive. Location was great just north of all the fun and located on the boardwalk. This was our first time visiting and our friends had several issues with their accomodations but luckily we were trouble free. I would call this place well located, and a safe bet for anyone. CHEERS!!"

"We stayed a week at New Dawn - plenty of room for 3 couples. The fabulous pool is the best part of the home and the beach and grounds are lovely. Be aware that the water off the beach is not clear like you might expect at a tropical beachside unit. We did have a lot of rain, but I don’t think that’s the reason.
