"All of the staff here are friendly and helpful as could be. The AC in the room worked great (and was quite necessary with the heat) and the fan on the terrace was a nice feature as well. Some people don't like the noise from the Barefoot Bar next door, but with the AC on at night we could barely hear anything from there. Plus, we go to the Barefoot every night anyway so being within easy stumbling distance was nice. The facilities are in need of some repair. For instance, the water heater was...

"My business partner and I took 8 of our employees to Little Harvest Caye for a weeklong retreat and we just can't say enough how perfect it was! This little island is immaculate. The beds were comfortable, the food and drinks were amazing (thank you Oscar!), and the staff was incredible! "We stayed here for the second year in a row and enjoyed it even more than the first time. We love the location and proximity to some great restaurants and bars. We also enjoyed grilling and eating at the home. The view is spectacular and never gets old. "

"Can't say enough about how wonderful this little Hopkins gem is! Right on the beach and at the same time in the centre of a walkable village! Bought our fruits and veggies on the street, best coffee right next door, and several rustic beach restaurants within easy walking distance. We tried them all and enjoyed every meal. This is a real village, not a resort, so expect the sounds and friendly people of every day life. Don't forget to tip the gentleman who cleans and rakes the sand all the way...

"Two couples stayed 6 nights. On days we had to get out early we were able to make breakfast at home. Many evenings we ended on the large patio with the ocean breeze. You can literally watch the sunrise from bed. VERY secure which my husband appreciated. Next door to a local bar, but late night karaoke on Sunday and a birthday party later in the week is the only time it was noticeable. "

Heather, Kevin and our Ophelia's Villa hosts were extremely responsive and very helpful whenever we needed recommendations - they are excellent hosts. We had two families staying together, with 9 of us in total - 4 adults, 4 teenagers and one 9-year-old. There was something for everyone. They have done a great job with the games area at the ground floor, to provide plenty of poolside...

"We had a family of 6 stay here, two couples and two toddlers. We loved the location, close to places to walk to eat, the dock on the water, the beach. It was wonderful. "

"Our group of 8 had a wonderful time at Casa del Sol. The home is in an excellent location with great views and is located next to the Placencia Beach Club, which was a bonus. It was great to have a private pool at the home and use of the kayaks/paddleboard to go exploring. The host kept in communication with us leading up to our stay and while we were there. Thank you for a great stay in Placencia!"

"This new building was a great stay. No issues with the place. Owners were very responsive. Location was great just north of all the fun and located on the boardwalk. This was our first time visiting and our friends had several issues with their accomodations but luckily we were trouble free. I would call this place well located, and a safe bet for anyone. CHEERS!!"
