"A good option for visiting Taunton. Good location as it's walkable from the train station. Front desk staff very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & included a mini refrigerator which was appreciated. Beds comfortable. A minor issue--towel racks & hooks are definitely needed as wet towels need a place to dry."

"Very friendly host/owner. Managed to get there on the first day before their restaurant service finished and had an excellent spicy pizza. Shame I didn't have time to try other menu items. The room itself was a good size, lots of storage space and a kettle with some coffee/tea on hand. The bed was fine, although a little firm for my taste but otherwise comfortable. "The hotel was great realy... our only moan is the steep staircase to the second floor, where unfortunately for us was where our room was. We are both elderly. Other than that it was a lovely place with lovely staff and a great breakfast."

"The staff were friendly & welcoming, the hotel was mostly clean but some areas of the room had been poorly cleaned. My issue is with the decor of the room. Bare concrete walls are not conducive to a welcoming, comfortable stay, no matter what artistic crap reason you give for stinting on the decorating. The lighting was dingy & swallowed by the heavy, dark walls. Coupled with the extremely small size of the room it felt like a prison cell. It's a shame as the bathroom was great & the staff...
