"Nice hotel, rooms are big for English standards and very close to supermarket, shops, etc. Parking is not free but was charged only 5GBP for day, so that was ok. The only downside was that we were traveling with a lot of bags and they do not have an elevator, anyway, they have only 2 floors so we had to go only one flour up. Overall nice stay with no issues."

"Staff were excellent, without exception. Warm and friendly and entirely welcoming. The bed was comfortable either side of the centreline, although very obviously two singles zipped together which made for a dip in the middle. Blackout curtains were a positive too. Downsides: soundproofing is poor. You can hear every door closing and too many conversations from other rooms. The shower pressure was painfully weak (but the water was always reliably hot on demand). Finally, if you have mobility...

"Great value for money. The hotel is being refurbished. My room was spotless. The mattress is comfy (though the pillows weren’t too comfortable). New TV, a kettle with tea/coffee well laid out. A microwave oven with a few plates to use for good, was a welcome addition. Receptionist George is friendly and welcoming. I am pleasantly surprised. "

"Hotel is good, next to Gloucester city centre. The room was ok, bathroom larger than in other hotels. Hotel was full, and breakfast was over-crowded. We had to sit on a small coffee table, and food was not enough for all the guests."

"First impression was a very friendly greeting and a cheery disposition from Elini (sp) on reception. The hotel appears to have been redecorated recently (Nov 2024) and everything in good order. The room was compact but comfortable, with the basic amenities, it boasted a television with subscription channels and of course the hot drinks tray. I was very happy with my stay and I will definitely consider using this place when I'm back in Quedgeley next January."
