"My wife and I stayed here for our weekend in DC. The place was about 20 minutes from the National Mall depending on traffic and stop lights. It's not the nicest part of DC but it's not terrible. Check in was pretty smooth except we didn't have a keypad code on the app so we had to message the host, but he responded quickly and we were able to get in the house easily. The place was just as expected. It was clean and a good place to stay for the price. The only thing we found odd was the bathroom...

"Clean, tidy, apartment in a quiet area. About 20 minutes fast walk to the metro. Bus stops (K2, K6) three to five minutes on foot. I had a problem with the shower curtain - it fell to the floor before anyone touched it. It doesn't change the fact that I recommend this place. The apartment was worth the price I paid."

"The location was perfect for us. The rooms on the third floor were quiet and private very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Martin, the host, was courteous and genuinely helpful. Adding another reading light so there is one for each side of the bed would be an improvement for the room. "

"Yao had EVERYTHING we would need for our stay! Towels, linens, plates, utensils, tvs, wifi, plenty to watch and even left little travels size soaps and lotion in each room. Plenty of room for 2 families including 5 kids total! Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Great host, easy to get into the property, and had a direct line of communication with Yao for anything we may have needed!"

"My fiancé and I wanted to celebrate his birthday with our chosen family and the things we love to do together throughout the year… festivals. World Pride was in DC this year and we were able to book tickets a while back. We were searching for places to stay but finally found this gem on VRBO. The location was perfect for the festival and in a quiet neighborhood that was unexpected. Easy access to delivery services as well. The property is beautiful and provides everything you need from sleeping...

"We stayed 4 nights and had a positive experience with this rental. I’d recommend this to anyone who has no problem with stairs. Pro: + 10 minute walk to Blue line Minnesota station + quiet neighborhood + fully equipped kitchen + digital locks and security system + modern walk-in shower in master + single car garage (great for a compact vehicle) + plenty of linens, household supplies, laundry + solid Wi-Fi + excellent host support Con: - in our stay we had nothing negative come up"

"Ben and Dana are wonderful hosts! They made sure our stay was comfortable. We were welcomed by the host in front of the building. There were home baked cookies and a bottle of filtered water waiting inside. The place was adorable, newly renovated, and very comfortable. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location is great in general, but specifically incredible for us, as our adult son lives only 2 blocks away. We visit DC every year and hope to be able to book here on our yearly visits....

"The hotel has good facilities and the service is excellent. The room is spacious and really comfortable. The hotel’s restaurant (Johnny Rockets & Hurricane Wings, which is outsourced) is something to keep in mind. Even though the food is good, the service there is terrible."
