"Bit of a bumpy start. Check in 45 minutes later after being given our key to a family room that had not been cleaned at all. And the other 2 rooms not ready either. Deputy manager did sort it out in tyne end and complimentary drinks which was nice. Food in the restaurant was fine. Hotel rooms were nice. Treatments were good and relaxing. "Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. "This was a fine hotel to stay in for a couple days, and the people working there were friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom was clean enough for the most part, as was the little kitchen used. Towels, coffee, tea, and TV were in the room, which was nice, and the bed was comfortable. It's not a fancy hotel, but works for solo traveller looking for inexpensive accommodation. 20 min walk to city centre and buses run right by the hotel. "

"Looked for a cheap overnight hotel in Middlesbrough, and found Longlands. Rooms were simple, shared toilets and showers as advertised, but clean and tidy. There was a problem with the boiler, affecting the central heating, but the receptionist provided a portable electric heater when it couldn't be sorted. Showers were electric so worked, and were nicely fitted out. I added the breakfast, which was really good value. "

"Lovely hotel, staff fabulous. Pool is smaller but went in the morning and quiet, enjoyed the steam room and jacuzzi. Would have liked to have information on times of breakfast and the pool, but easily got information when asked. Breakfast was lovely too. Well definitely re visit"

"Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. "

"Hotel confortável, com academia inclusa e um bar com um bom ambiente. O melhor ponto dos quartos, além da cama confortável e cortina com um bom black-out, era a presença de entradas USB junto com todas as tomadas, o que ajuda muito quem não possui adaptadores específicos (ou levou poucos). "
