"Hotel is clean. But the Hide a bed is really uncomfortable. I’d go for double queen beds instead of the hide a bed if I were you. Also, disappointing that there is no easy way to call the hotel directly. You get sent through a call service and the person on the phone isn’t even in the state. No phone in the room to call out. "

"This place was so unique and beautiful! My son loved the playground he wouldn’t leave it. It’s comfy and cozy! Has a wholesome family feel to it:), just absolutely love it! ❤️ we would absolutely stay here again! And I recommend to anyone with children who want and outdoor experience with a cabin, and a nice little quiet area! It’s organized, friendly, and clean! I think it’s a perfect stay for anyone. "

"Clean and quiet resort that’s close to everything we wanted to visit! The cabins are very spacious and the kids loft was fun for my daughter. The kitchenette with stove top was convenient and saved us some money on dining out during our stay. There was a full-sized coffee pot in the cabin also so you can bring your own coffee. "Visited in the off season and it was a nice quiet stay. Loved the little cabin we stayed in, too. It seemed either like a newly built or newly refurbished. Either way it was very comfy and inviting. The dogs at the main building were very friendly, too!"

"Clean and comfortable stay. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Location was central to all the Black Hills activities we wanted to do. The kids loved the loft in Cabin 1. The first cabin wasn’t too far off the road, so there was some traffic noise, but we enjoyed how the location was in the forest and quietly off-set from all the tourist happenings. We would stay again! "

"Mile High Cabin was just what our family needed! We had three family units and the accommodations were more than adequate. The sites and activities we enjoyed were easily accessible from our cabin. There’s were multiple activities that could be enjoyed inside on the rainy days and when we needed down time. The kitchen was fully equipped for us and spacious enough for multiple people helping prep. We all want to come here again!"
