"We had a lovely stay at Stirling Cottage. Michelle was fantastic from the initial booking, communication leading up to our stay and while we were there. At one point it looked like we may need to stay an extra night. Michelle got straight back to me and was very accommodating. "Avoid this hotel. It has no respect whatsoever for its customers. I stayed in room 607, and on the same floor, an all-night party took place—noisy, with people screaming in the corridors, making it impossible for anyone else to sleep. I politely asked the guests to lower their voices, called and spoke twice with the reception, all to no effect. The management showed total disregard for the comfort and rights of other guests. I didn’t expect Australians to behave in such a gross and selfish manner, nor did I expect a hotel to tolerate this level of disrespect. The result: a miserable sleepless night. I might as well have slept on a park bench for the same outcome."
