"After arriving to the area and meeting up with family I came to the property to drop off luggage to have more room in the vehicle. The place was booked for two nights and one night we had children 1 & 2 years of age. The owner of the property stated that they did not allow children. "Overall this was a very desirable location and rental. Huge front and back yard, well decorated and smelled awesome when we walk in. Minor issues with microwave handle being broken on the bottom and uncleaned oven that created a lot of smoke when turned on. We cleaned as best we could to prepare dinner and carried on. "We were in town for a tournament at the convention center and looking for something walking distance. This was perfect! Less than 5 min walk. The loft had everything we could have asked for and was immaculate. Instructions for entering the loft were clear and easy to follow, as well as communication before, during and after was A+! My only suggestion is that the outside of the place was difficult to find - possibly a photo of the entrance would help! But once we found it, the rest of the stay...

"We stayed in the cottage for 4 nights while in town for a family event with our daughter’s family. Great little place. It does have two bedrooms but only sleeping for 3 adults as the second bedroom has only a daybed. Main bedroom does have a queen size bed. Apartment has a large kitchen but not many utensils. It would be nice if more spoons,forks and cooking utensils were provided to be able to cook eggs etc. Also all pillows were as flat as pancakes. Maybe some new ones would be nice. Also...

"This is such a cosy house! I adore the floor plan, the huge backyard, the front porch! I personally love hearing the far away trains passing by, definitely not an obnoxious sound just peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe! We were able to bake my 4 year olds cake and celebrate his birthday! It's right between richmond and Fort Lee/Fort Gregg-Adams so its a very minimal commute whicever direction. We qould definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful, newly renovated studio apartment very close to everything and with restaurants, bakeries and pubs few steps away. The owner was very responsive and courteous. I loved my stay and will certainly return. I highly recommend this place!"

"The was what our family needed! A perfect home away from the hectic military life we know. The water front was perfect and peaceful. Something for all of us and the history Larkin shared with us made it even better. Can't wait until we can visit again. 100% recommend. Thank you for letting us unwind in your beautiful home."
