"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "Second visit to this magnificent hotel and cannot fault anything really. Fantastic staff and always welcoming. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. At the moment it appears to be having renovation work which causes no problems for guests. It is brilliant the hotel fact is central to a variety of things for tourists, for example, shops, restaurants, bars, pubs and all viewpoints for sightseers. Finally the accommodation offers entertainment and a place to eat & relax."

"One of the best options in Canterbury, if you feel like spending a bit more. Breakfast is great, staff is very helpful. I just regret accepting the upgrade offer, which was a bit pricy and didn't give much more advantages. Late checkout was denied."
