"My wife and I are used to all inclusive type resorts, and recently have not been very happy with the experience. If you want a true taste of Costa Rica this is where to stay for an exceptionally great deal and walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are modest, but exceptionally clean. This is the last time we're gonna stand in an all inclusive buffet line of mediocre food and employees that hate you. This is our first time to Costa Rica and won't be the last."

"Love the location of this condo. The pool is nice and it is only about 10 -15 mins walk to the beach. Also, there is a sidewalk so you are not walking on the main road with cars and trucks and motorbikes. There is a small grocery store located at the front of the condo and it has everything including meat and vegetables and fruits. The only thing I would fault this place is the mattress. We rented unit 9 and we were basically sleeping on boxspring. There is no pillow top on the mattress and we...

"Excellent location. Eladio was an excellent host. He treated us like family and took us to some beautiful spots in the Rincon National Park. Highly recommend."

"Everything was clean and everything worked. The kitchen had everything we needed.needed. The showees were nice and warm with decent"

"Everything was great and everyone was helpful. It was more like a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, maybe more when the street is crowded. It was easier to use the pool at the condo. Also was a little difficult to use hot water in shower. There was no hot water to wash dishes in kitchen sink. Coco is a lovely town and we have already made arrangements to return."

"Nice gated place. Two apartments below, two above. We didn’t hear our neighbors, which was nice. Really close to the beach but you need to follow forest paths to get there faster. Lots of monkeys and iguanas around. Playa Hermosa is a much quieter beach town than many others, and we like it that way. The bigger hotel Villa de Sueno on the corner has good (though overpriced) food and music several nights a week. "

"Our party of 9 adults really enjoyed our stay at Casa La Vida Sonada. The house is gorgeous and very well equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of room both inside and out to accommodate a large party. The views of Coco bay were breathtaking and the location was ideal for quiet relaxation, but only a short golf cart away to the beaches and restaurants. The property managers, Al and Tammy, were very helpful in making arrangement before our trip, and were also very responsive and...

"Loved the house. Steep drive to get to the home but well worth it for the view. House was very expansive and all bedrooms very private. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we appreciated the filtered water at the sink and the little countertop ice maker. Could use a few new pool inflatables as most leaked air. Beach towels were provided as well as coolers in the garage. We never used the tv, but noticed the surround sound and big library of movies. Also liked the board games. Pool and hot...

"We had a great time staying at Tom's property. Overall, the property was clean. We had a few problems with bugs on the counters and a scorpion in the kitchen. The highlights are the wonderful views from the upstairs bedroom bslcony!balcony"

"This was our second trip to Sol y Mar because our first trip was a dream. The property is special. We did get caught up in the weather debacle that involved two weeks of vertical rain contributing to the Liberia airport closure, and stranding us in CR for another week. The bright spot in the entire trip was our comfort at Sol y Mar. Grethel was helpful staying in contact with us while we were there. She checked in regularly and was a lifeline. "

"Lovely little unit that was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the terrace, but as others have mentioned, a shade umbrella would have really added to our enjoyment. Everything with condo was great. There is no parking at the condo, but the shuttles to the parking lot come by every few minutes. Really appreciated that the shower had a safety bar! Everything very clean and nice. Bed was comfy. Definitely recommend. "

"Property is beautiful! Plenty of space and areas for large groups. Everything you could think of in kitchen and towel supply. Edgar was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would give him 5 stars for being helpful and very kind. We had nine firefighter/pilot friends and spouses. everyone had a wonderful time. Pool area was our fav spot."

"This was an amazing property! The property AND views were spectacular. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for 8 as was the family table. There was plenty of outside seating to relax. We used the fire pit almost every night to make S’mores! India’s team was soooo welcoming and ready to assist us with group activities within minutes!! So glad we could lean on them for accurate recommendations. We ordered groceries to be sent before we arrived which was perfect to have after a long day of travel....

Razoável.

"Hotel razoável. Quarto bem espaçoso, mas sem mto capricho na decoração, cama ok, chuveiro ok. Nada demais. Café da manhã com opções pouco saudáveis, pedimos o café continental e era bem tudo bem gorduroso. Restaurante caro. Pedimos um ceviche e estava ruim. Pina colada boa. "
