"Loved the quiet area. "

"We loved this place! We've stayed down the road before, but we were looking for a better dock - this was the winner! Amazing - all the nieces and nephew's loved it.A small housekeeping glitch upon arrival through no fault of their own, but the hosts more than took care of it.Neighbors are good as well and we'll definitely be back."

"We absolutely had the best time at Tara King's lake house. Other than food and floats, we didn't need much else. Her home was well supplied with everything we needed for a relaxing few days with our big ol' family. House was spotless, beds were comfy and lake was a short walk away. Simply perfect. We'll be back again next year if the good Lord allows. "

"Absolutely loved Camp Runamuck for celebrating my mom's retirement and 60th birthday! There is more than enough space for 3 families to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in patio and boat dock. We brought a boat with us, and there are 2 TVA boat docks nearby and plenty of room to tie it the house. Janet left a thoughtful note and some cookies for us upon arrival. Cozy spot if you need a family weekend at the lake! "

"Over the last 18 months we have stayed at four different properties in the local area attempting to identity/secure a retirement property around the lake. By far, this rental was the cleanest and best location of all four of our experiences. Highly recommend the property."

"The cabin was perfect for a pair of bass fishermen. Close to downtown Guntersville, easy access to boat ramps, and space for your boat with power hookup. There’s room to hangout inside, on the covered porch, or around the fire pit. Mary was awesome. "

"Beautiful lakefront home. Perfect for families! My family and I enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and dock. "

"The property was an excellent choice for our family stay for the state swim meet. After the meet was over we enjoyed time by the lake ,kayaking and great restaurants just a few minutes away. The apartment had everything well kept and clean. Will stay again if state swim returns next year. "

"Great stay overall. Except one little hiccup with the code to the keypad. We tried contacting the host but it was very late and she didn’t get back to us until the morning. There should be an emergency number in the future just in case. We will definitely stay again. "

"Our family just recently visited the Secret Slough. It was the secluded retreat that we hoped it would be. Very, very private! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming entrance with the sound of the waterfall as we arrived to the house. The house is very spacious and suited our family perfectly. We cook a lot and we found the house to be very accommodating for our needs. Lots of utensils, pots, pans, and basic spices. Very well stocked. Even had a colander and I was impressed. "It was great very comfortable. There were extra everything lots of blankets, everything thing you need in the kitchen. Lots of room we had two children and five adults. The view was beautiful the dock was great. The neighborhood made us feel safe and all the neighbors were very friendly"

"I rented both of the owners houses that were right on Guntersville Lake at the marina. I have to say I was totally impressed with every single aspect of these properties. First the size , big well equipped, kitchens, living rooms bedrooms everything was spotless. Air conditioner worked great .I would gladly rent here again in a heartbeat . thank you to the owners for providing such a fine property"

"We rented this house for a family get together in July. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, fishing in the lake, grilling on the deck and playing in the spacious yard. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Sam was super accommodating and responsive!"
