"Great location, easy to walk to the resort. Very cute and clean. My only negative comment would be that the furniture is very uncomfortable, especially the primary bedroom. The mattress and bed frame seem very old, and the old foam mattress topper just makes it worse. I couldn’t sleep on the bed, I had to sleep in the bunk bed upstairs which was also not that comfortable. The couch is also very uncomfortable. It all just seems like cheap furniture. "The location was quiet, easy to find and centrally located. Perfect for exploring the area and putting on a training class at a local business. Beds were comfortable and all the amenities were appreciated. I have to teach another class in the spring and I am hoping to stay again at this location. "

"The place was rustic but nice. We did have to shovel our way in, the snow on the walk was fairly deep and slippery. Enjoyed our stay. VRBO always has a lot of charges that add on to the listed cost per night that are kind of annoying. "

"We had a great time sharing this home for a few days to ski at Crystal Mountain. The location is about a 15 minute drive to the hill. There are restaurants in nearby Frankfort and a great breakfast spot in Beulah. We were happy to find a few open restuarants in the winter!The home is spacious and we easily had 2 families in this space. "This is a very nice, historical property within easy walking distance of Elberta's restaurants, marina, Waterfront Park, and Elberta Beach on Lake Michigan, and a short drive from Frankfort on the other side of Betsie Bay as well as many other Northern Michigan attractions. "This condo is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare meals. There was a good supply of extra linens and pillows. The condo is a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and slopes. We would definitely choose to stay here again. "

"This property was a little dirty cob webs in windows carpet in living room had a lot of spots in carpet and getting heat adjusted so one room like the bedroom upstairs did not get so hot at night."

Only negative comment was the lack of coffee pods available for the Kuerig Coffee machine and I would recommend guests bring their own for the machine, there is not a regular coffee pot. "

"the building was built in the 1930s yes its old . what a beautiful house. great porch great kitchen with shiplap walls and ceiling. very functional everything was there frig microwave toaster oven , nice bedrooms shower worked great . great yard firepit with chairs car parking on site .fantastic view of the lake. easy access to town and restaurants in walking distance . we were there to fish. great access to the lake. overall we liked it very much. hope to stay again next year."

"My husband myself and our 2 friends just loved it there. All the connivence of home. Close to everything we wanted to do. And after running around all day, it was nice to come back have a small bonfire and enjoy the hot tub. We defiantly what to come back during the summer months to enjoy the lake and to see other places we didn't get to see the 4 days we were there. "

"The cabin is nice, a little dated. The stairs going to the second floor are a bit challenging. The detatched studio is a bit cold for the winter stay. Overall nice location, clean and well stocked."
