The first evening we sat on the deck overlooking the valley. "Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. "

"We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. "Dates were actually Sun. July 6 to Fri. July 11. This cabin was true to the listing, owners are awesome! This place is beautiful, and super relaxing! This cabin has everything you need, and then some! The owners really put a lot of thought into extras that make the stay extra special!"

"This is our second time at this cabin, and both times the stay was amazing! Cabin is as described. Sitting on the porch we saw deer and turkey. You know it is a great place to stay when you are genuinely sad to leave. Thank you Chris for allowing us to stay once again. The cabin is the perfect base camp for all of our adventures!"

"This little cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and overall a perfect option for anyone looking to take a little trip to Raystown. The rules are straightforward and simple. Check-in and out was a breeze and the location is peaceful and pretty much central to everything. Very close to the beach, good local restaurants, the Marina and much more. Very clean and well taken care of, we look forward to coming back! "

"Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!"

"Beautiful Property, very clean and well maintained. Very well stocked, had everything that you could possibly need. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large windows. Would definitely recommend staying."

"The perfect escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, relaxing and a great location. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stretching out in the hammocks, and the nature around us. We have seen hawks, deer, even turtles running around. Everything that you need in a cabin. Close to town and all the area attractions. "This property was immaculate and exactly as described. Everything we needed was available and the attention to detail was great. We loved the cabin feel of the home and would absolutely stay there again. "

"This was our third year staying at Drooly Bear and we will be back! Close to Lake Raystown and Trough Creek State Park. Great for family get together. Whole family loves it."

"Best sunset views anywhere! Very relaxing stay — exactly what was needed for a getaway with the kids. Well appointed house. Fun yard games. Close enough to drive to PawPaw or Cacapon for hiking or kayaking. But also just perfect for disconnecting, relaxing and enjoying the the show the sky puts on every evening!"

"Quick getaway for family. Cabin was excellent, beds very comfortable, wood floors, 2 br, 2 bath perfect for our group. Nice jacouzi in master br upstairs. Ramp to front door, perfect for our elderly dog. Only thing the kids didn’t like was no internet at the cabin - would have to go to the spa to have internet. Sliding glass door to balcony with chairs was a plus."
