"We loved our stay at the cabin! The Hucks hospitality made our stay exceptionally enjoyable! They gave excellent restaurant recommendations and we visited the lake bog they also recommend. We also enjoyed walking through the trails on the property. We were disappointed that oddly we seen no wildlife on the property not even a squirrel or rabbit. We loved our stay and appreciate how the Hucks made our stay so very much enjoyable. "

"Used this as base camp for bird hunting in the NMW for a week in October with my dad and his dog. Was a perfect spot to crash at the end of long day in the woods. Comfortable at night, even had the luxury of the TV to watch playoff baseball at night, and the sunrises were amazing every day. Eric was very welcoming of the dog and very quick to answer any questions. Would tell friend s a stay here again."

"I stayed here with my partner for two nights and we loved it! The place was very clean and it looked like some of the window screens had been recently replaced and new air conditioners were put in.(It was less than 70° while we were there so we didn’t need to use them though!) We loved the location on the island and it had some spectacular views. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. Definitely a very secluded area, but not too far of a drive to a local grocery store to get...

"We found the property to be a perfect fit for our moose hunting trip with family and some friends. Very nice accommodations, great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and laundry. Great location."

"Nice house to stay in Very well equipped and nice location The motion sensor lights on the deck were a bit of a pain and could not be turned off. A lack of shades and or curtains down stairs was the other thing. But all in all a very comfortable place to stay "

"Had a very nice, relaxing time. Cabin was clean and organized. The road getting to the cabin was off roading so AWD/4WD SUV/Truck is required. The lake was relaxing, the fire pit was great. The dog loved it. Jerry’s is the grocery store in town and was fantastic. Highly recommend. "

"What a wonderful property. Spacious, clean and everything we could have asked for. Hosts were engaged in making sure we hade evertything we needed. I recommend for anyone to stay. Will hopefully stay at the same property when I visit in 2025."

"Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities."

"Clean, well appointed, gorgeous setting. We loved the view, the coziness and the privacy. The starlings, corn and wind all made it perfectly atmospheric. It was the perfect backdrop for a writing retreat! "

"we stayed here for 4 nights to bird hunt great location! it worked out great for us plenty of room the hosts stopped by when we got there1 never saw them again but i know if we needed something they would have taking care of it just a great few days"
