Gorgeous views, sleeps 6, clean, less than 100 steps to beach access.

Grand Caribbean East (GCE), unit 205, has it all. It is clean, has a well-stocked Kitchen with all new kitchen appliances added in 2024 (old appliances are shown in the pictures) and freshly decorated in a modern beachy style with beautiful gulf views and easy beach access.

The building is across the street from 2 beach access points (Tarpon and Pompano). Tarpon beach has been newly expanded to provide 340 ft of beach front with additional amenities coming in late 2025. GCE has a spacious pool and hot tub, grill area and plenty of parking in the back of the building to accommodate 2 cars per guest.

Unit 205 is a very spacious 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom which accommodates 6 guests comfortably. This unit is under new ownership.

We love staying at our new condo to get a feel for what the rental experience is like for our guests. We work hard to make sure it is a place where our guests will enjoy staying.

We maintain a well-stocked kitchen and also provide enough bath towels, pillows and blankets for 6 guests. We strive to provide a clean and well maintained vacation rental.

Upon entering the condo, you will be greeted by a long hallway which runs from the front door to the living area. As you proceed down the hallway you will pass the spacious private master bedroom which has a new King bed and mattress, ceiling fan and tv. You will then pass by the bathroom which has 2 entry points, one from the hallway and one from the master bedroom. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination, large vanity and plenty of storage for towels and toiletries.

Past the bathroom is the washer and dryer closet and then the bunk beds with 2 twin beds.

The hallway ends at the living area. This area is very open and bright and has amazing views of the gulf through the beautiful french doors and windows that span the entire width of the room. Out the doors, is a roomy deck where you can relax and enjoy seeing the beautiful emerald coast water and feeling the nice breezes coming off of the gulf.

The Living area has a queen sleep sofa.

The kitchen is open to the living area, has a spacious peninsula with additional seating. and is well stocked with plenty of dishes, bakeware, cookware and utensils for cooking, baking and eating. New appliances added in 2024. We also provide a blender, toaster, Keurig and traditional coffee maker and a slow cooker. It is such a joy to make great meals while enjoying the beautiful views of the gulf.

The dining tables holds 6 so you can all enjoy your meals together. Itā€™s also a great place to hang out with the family and play card / board games or to catch up after an amazing day on the beach.

The living area has a new, large, flat screen smart tv and plenty of seating to enjoy family movie nights.

We provide a starter amount of bathroom paper, paper towels, soap and shampoo. The bathroom has a blow dryer. An iron and ironing board is available as well.

Please note that this unit is on the 2nd floor and the building does not have elevators. You will have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to the unit.

While we do not provide beach towels or any beach needs, we do provide bath towels and all bed linens. Please do not take the bath towels or bed linens to the beach.

The property is clean, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked with bath linens cookware, and dishes. It is very close to the beach and has a pretty good view from the deck. Parking is convenient, and the pool and hot tub are well-maintained. The biggest drawback my family found is the lack of any beach chairs or umbrellas. These are not something we can just transport on a plane and are relatively important for a pleasant beach experience!

GE205 is such a prime location. It's steps to the beach with beautiful views and the condo is close to the pool so even if you don't want to swim, you are still able to be in the fun from the balcony while the others swim! The condo had beautiful, very comfortable furnishings. I slept Heavenly all week!! The bathroom, kitchen and laundry area had everything we needed. This was the perfect stay and I will highly recommend this condo and area to anyone who is looking to take a trip to Destin!

This was the perfect getaway. The location was right across the street from the beach. Great views from the balcony. The condo was clean. If your was going to cook(not me) everything you need to there. The owner was awesome, she was great about communicating with me. The only reason I give it 5 stars is because 6 stars is not an option. If its available book it!

TN getaway

We've stayed in this building before but wasn't this unit. I knew we enjoyed the property so i found one for this trip. We've only been to Destin 1 other time in 2019. It definitely fit us better when the kids were small bc now we fight over the 1 bathroom lol. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The toilet gets clogged easily bc it seems like theres not much water pressure when flushing and you have to really push and hold the handle for it to flush. Hopefully its a simple fix. The cleaning people didnā€™t sweep well before we got there. We swept throughout the week to keep sand etc off the floors and the 1st time was definitely way more dirt and dried cereal than what we put down. Not major but if its not being swept then what else isn't being done? However, We absolutely would love to stay here again! Communication was good and check in and out were super simple.

Wedding trip

We attended a family friendā€™s wedding that was being held on the beach. Our condo was pretty cute and clean. The check in was super easy. The host was very helpful on suggestions for a local seafood dinner place and was very prompt when we asked for an iron as soon as we noticed that there wasnā€™t one there. The location was an easy walk across the street to the beach. It was nice to learn that we could pay in advance for chairs and umbrellas ahead of time so as not to have to carry everything down to the beach. The only issues we had were the people who were renting a home across the parking lot were very loud late into the evening and the people above us were noisy. (Out of our hosts control obviously) As for the condo itself and amenities, I think it would be very beneficial to replace the rug in the living room. It curled up all across the front and was a tripping hazard. It would have been nice to have a few spices in the kitchen, salt/pepper, sugar packets and a sufficient amount of ice from the ice maker. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again!

Lovely condo with dreamy decor and perfect AC!

When we walked in, it was so cute and homey. There were several complimentary items and the bed was very comfy. There is also a quaint washer and dryer setup in the condo, which was such a help.The only complaint isn't the owner's fault but the walls are extremely thin. I'm very certain there was a family with small children above us because it seemed as though the ceiling was going to collapse all throughout the day and into the night (around 1:30am). We had to bang on the ceiling twice to see if they would stop, but no luck. I loved loved loved the distance to the water though. And the parking lot always has spots for us. The shower head could use some updating to a low pressure saver. It was like showering in the rain. Other than the kids tearing the house down above us, I really loved our stay here. 5 stars!

When we got there, it was very cute and clean. It was better than the pictures. It is a small place but comfy with a king bed, which I appreciate it very close to the beach and little extras that the owner left like small dish soap, a roll of toilet paper a roll of paper towels was very much appreciated. šŸ˜ƒ

Great beach location!

Good location to beach and restaurants. Safe neighborhood with pools and hot tubs on property. Condo was roomy, the only down side is it had no toilet paper at all; come prepared. I've stayed in so many VRBO and that has never happened. Not a good start but other then that it was a well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful condo, pool, and hot tub!

The condo was just as described. Even though itā€™s not directly on the beach we had a nice view of the gulf and close to several restaurants! We would definitely stay here again. Only issue was our condo wasnā€™t ready on time, but the owner was wonderful to work with and gave us a late check out to compensate which was greatly appreciated!

This was one of the cleanest places we have ever rented! Our walk to the beach was perfect. Right across the road. The property was quiet and well kept. Very comfortable place

This property was just as was advertised. Fully equipped with all amenities and supplies. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. The property owner and manager were super responsive and answered all our questions and provided timely help. Very clean place and great location walking distance from the beach. Our kids loved the bunk beds too. Totally recommend booking the 205 unit at Grand Caribbean East.
