"A group of friends and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend this year. Pictures were very similar to the listing, the only caveat I have is about the bunk beds. In the picture, it looks like there is more room than in real life. We were 4 adults in this room, and we were pretty crammed. I would recommend this room only for kids. Other than that, BBQ was cool, common areas were really nice and spacious, and the location is a nice getaway close to the Lake."

"The house was perfect for our family gathering over Labor Day weekend. There are plenty of separate areas to give everyone space to spread out and not feel so "comfy". The downstairs with pool table and shuffle board provided hours of entertainment. Poker night around the large dining table was a big hit. The kitchen is well stocked and the outside grill was invaluable for preparing home cooked meals. The humongous outside deck with fireplace was the perfect area to relax in the evenings and...

"Great house and location. No water on Friday night. Handyman out to fix. No water again Sat.morning. in the middle of a shower. Took a while to fix. Interfered with our plans for day. Hope all is permanently fixed. Would like to rent again"

"This house is incredible. It is nicely decorated and the furniture is very comfortable. There was a space for everything. A game area, very well stocked kitchen, dining room table, very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The outside area was wonderful to sit out in during the morning and evenings. Our host was as very responsive and gracious. We have stayed in several homes and this is by far our favorite. "

"We had a large group of family/friends stay at this place for 4 nights. There were several adjustments we had to make to be comfortable but it was an overall positive stay. Although we knew there was no a/c, it was 105 degrees when we arrived and the home was around 94 degrees inside which was too much to handle, so we had to open all the windows and hang out outside until it was cool enough at night to come in. Also there was no ladder to climb up to the top bunk bed and there was a 74 year old...

"This was the perfect spot for a couple of families to stay while in Redding playing baseball! It had ample sleeping space as well as plenty of room for everyone to kick back and relax after a long day of baseball! The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items need to cook meals for our families. It was very clean and well maintained! And the owners were super quick to respond with any questions! We will definitely stay again when we are back in that area!! "

"WOW! This was the most comfortable place we've stayed in a long time. In the Top 10 Internationally, Top 3 in the U.S. Communication with the host was stellar, room immaculately clean, comfortable bed, awesome pillows, walk in shower and claw foot tub. "This was a very comfortable property. I arrived late in the day and was very tired. The shower door would not open, so I took a sink “wipe down”. The no contact check in was unique and easy. However, the shower door was an issue I chose not to pursue because of fatigue. TV, heater, a/c, microwave were great. "

"This property is meticulously maintained, especially considering its age, and all the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This stay was a convenient location to join family that was staying on a houseboat. We feel like we got what we paid for and did not have high expectations.
