Very cute hotel with personable, friendly staff. We loved the warm welcome, including an early check-in, and the seating are with gas fire pits facing the beach. Nice to use boogie boards, beach chairs and towels and bikes as well. The one downside was the parking situation. It was graduation and Fatherās Day weekend and incredibly busy in Del Mar, which exacerbated the demand on the small parking lot. There were several times we could not park in the hotel lot, causing us to use the valet next door or street parking, and one time none of those were an option so we had to drive around for an hour and come back. Not ideal, but for everything else that was great, we would definitely stay again.
