"Ann and Alan are gracious hosts and their historic home is a wonderful B&B. The room I had was clean and comfortable. Along with the wonderful brownies waiting for me in the room, there was also a history of the home, the area and the original owner Pratt Smith. Breakfast was delicious too! I definitely enjoyed my stay."

"Desolate area. Cabin was perfect size and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Cabin owners responded to questions and concern’s in a timely fashion. Had our two nine year old boys that couldn’t play on their tablets or video game consoles. I’ll just say if you have young kids with you “bring board games, bikes, scooters etc”.Overall we had a great time!"

"Aug 22-25, 2024. Very lovely cabin, immaculate, fresh beddings. Excellent Wi-Fi. We truly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the overall property. Very quiet area. Lots of wildlife. About 15 minutes south of Old Forge. Our host Karen was outstanding. We gave this a 5-star rating, and well deserved. Thank you!"

"You will love everything about this stay! Everything in this house is SO thoughtfully curated for a perfect stay with not having to worry about anything! "My sisters and daughters and I spent the weekend exploring cemeteries and researching our family tree, which is loaded with ancestors in and around Remsen. This beautiful little cabin is perfectly located for our endeavors and worked out really well for us. We will definitely be back!!"

"We had 12 full sized adults in our party. The Black Creek cabin had a nice communal area, but inadequate bedding for our adults. With only one bedroom on the first floor, and one adult who couldn’t use stairs, she had to have the one bedroom with a king bed. That left one couple for the second bedroom with a king bed. "Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!"

"The West Canada cabin was outstanding. Beautiful location with a great view of the lake right from the windows/decks. All of the conforts of home within the cabin, beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed, had plenty of towels and having the washer/dryer was definitely quite helpful. Emily and the Kuyahoora staff were excellent in accomodating our needs with a late arrival and communicating with us. Highly recommend this resort and the cabin for any group of 6 to 8 people. "

"We recanted this home for a 4 day get away with our adult kids. The owner was prompt with questions. The home was easy to access. It was clean and neat. It had all the items we needed for kitchen and bathrooms. The home was nicely decorated. It had plenty of board games and items if you have kids. I would rent this home again. "

"This gorgeously restored home has many thoughtful amenities. It is on such a peaceful piece of land with a great porch for relaxing and playing games. The beds are super comfortable, even the fold out couch! Communication was great and we never had to search for anything, everything was laid out perfectly. I definitely recommend!"

"This property met all of our expectations. It was very large, spacious, clean, welcoming and comfortable. I especially liked the little "touches" that Stephanie provided, i.e. her information booklets of places to go and eat, welcoming drinks, etc. I will definitely rent this property again when we are visiting New York. "The houses location was the main reason we choose this place. There’s a huge back and front lawn to allow kids to run around and have fun. Nice porches on the front and back. The dock is across the road so you can enjoy the lake. The house it’s self had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again."

"Looks exactly as pictured. So cute, quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Great grocery store a very short drive from the house. House was stocked with everything you would need. Washer and dryer was super handy too. Relaxing and comfortable. We had an excellent stay! Would definitely return."
