Number 5 is a beautiful light and airy seaside home. It is a 1 minute walk from the beach and close to Deal Pier. It is situated in the old town which is quiet but close to the main shopping area full of independent shops, fantastic cafes and many restaurants.
Number 5 has a sunny garden and parking for one car to the front; this is a real bonus in the centre of town as parking on the road is hard to find and it is expensive in the car parks. If you are bringing more than one car then there is a residents car park around the back of the property which you are welcome to park in if there is space.
It is suitable for all age groups with the ability to place a cot in the dressing room if needed. Number 5 has a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine.
There are books and board games and a selection of DVD's for you to use during your stay.
If you are bringing children then there is a travel cot with mobile, a baby bath, high chair, stair gate, play mat, changing mat and toys so that you don't have to bring all of these with you.
There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double, one with twin beds and the third is able to accommodate a cot or has the option to use a mattress suitable for a child or small adult, on the floor. If this is required please state this when booking so that it will be set up for your arrival.
There are 2 bathrooms, one is downstairs which has a toilet, sink and shower, and one is upstairs with a bath, toilet and sink.
Deal is a beautiful seaside town with lots to do. It has 2 historic castles, a museum and the only post war pier in the country with an award winning restaurant at the pier head. Deal has wonderful Georgian architecture, a bandstand playing live music, a weekly market and a wonderful beach.
There is amazing cycle rides and walks in the area. You can walk across the cliffs to St Margaret's Bay or cycle to Betteshanger Country Park.
There are many restaurants to choose from and a wide range of cafes and bistros.
Deal has an array of independent shops having won the High Street of the Year award.
There are plenty of places to visit; the medieval city of Canterbury is a 30 minute drive, Broadstairs and Margate are just along the coast, and France is an 1hr 15 min ferry crossing away - so don't forget your passport.
Number 5 has its own parking. It is within 2 minute walk to the town, beach, shops, bars and restaurants. It is not affected by noise as the closest bars shut at 9pm.
It is an 8 minute walk from the train station which has trains to London every hour taking approximately 1hr 30 mins.
