Amazing!
Cleanest property we’ve ever stayed at! Everything was well stocked in the cabin, and there were so many small details they included, with lots of extra little storage areas for your items. Bathroom had plenty of towels. My favorite thing in a rental is when they include a binder of local menus and recommendations of things to do, and theirs was great!

Fall Getaway
A cozy place with attention to detail! We started the day with coffee in the height of comfort whether inside or out and released the muscle tension of a day spent hiking the Black Hills, in the hot tub surrounded by nature. The hosts have anticipated all needs and wants. Ready for a repeat!

We loved our stay here. It was very comfy and cozy. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was great to soak in on chilly mornings. Our host was great with communication. She even mailed us something that we had forgotten at the cabin after we left. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!
It's a great property, and it's not the first time I have stayed on my annual trip to the Black Hills. It's easy to get to and in a very scenic area. This time, we had problems with super slow internet, which is something I still require while I am away. I am a business owner, and regardless of how much I would love to stay 100% unplugged, it isn't a reality. There are new houses being added in the area, and it may just be the internet provider or the infrastructure hasn't been brought up to meet the demand. Nevertheless, we got by and truly enjoyed our time there.

Perfect Peaceful Escape!
We loved this cozy little cabin nestled up on Terry's Peak. It was the perfect size and set-up for my husband and I and our three year old. The outdoor space is PERFECT. We spent so much time outside enjoying the fresh air and viewing all the wildlife that would wander through the yard. The cabin has everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We would stay here again if visiting the area!

Had a great trip here with my wife. We stayed when it was not busy and had good privacy inside and outside by the hot tub. Was really close to Lead, nice for getting groceries. We would love to come back some time!

This place had everything you need for a stay super close to the base of Terry Peak. Perfect for a family of 4. Private hot tub was great, it was quiet and was setup to feel secluded. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend and would love to visit in the summer months.

Fabulous as Always!
This was our second stay at Deep Snow Cabin and it was simply lovely. Fresh herbs and farm-fresh eggs stocked in the fridge and along with a chilled bottle of champagne graciously gifted to us for our anniversary. The view, the wildlife, the fall colors, and THE HOT TUB! It's simply an exquisitely quaint little place to unplug, unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend this little gem and have nothing but great things to say about our host. Cheers! Majorie!!

Wonderful Wildlife
We really enjoyed this well appointed cabin. It’s very cute and cozy, plus has many extras that you may need. The view of wildlife was our favorite. We saw red squirrels, deer, a Jack rabbit, and birds. I could easily stay here for a month and hope to be back!

Charming cabin with a beautiful deck
This was one of my family's favorite places we stayed on a long road trip in July and August 2022. The cabin is very cute and comfortable, with nice beds, a big soft couch, and a kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. Marjorie, the property manager, was easy to communicate with and left us a nice note and some snacks, which we really appreciated. Our favorite thing about the place was the deck with the hot tub and the view of a field of wild flowers and ferns. We had breakfast and dinner out there in addition to using the hot tub several times. The only negative about renting this place was that I had very weird, negative interactions with Evolve, the company that acts as some kind of go-between between VRBO and the actual property manager. I don't really understand what Evolve does. They sent me a confirmation email with incorrect information about the cancellation policy, and took days to respond to confirm that their email was incorrect. In the days leading up to the reservation I got several strange text messages and voicemails from them that seemed like scams or phishing. They claimed that they couldn't confirm my identity because there was someone else with my name in their system, and suggested I would need to confirm my identity by providing them with additional information. I finally reached out to Marjorie directly and she confirmed that my reservation was fine. Maybe this was just a fluke, but it interrupted my vacation and was annoying. However, the property itself was great and I would stay there again, especially if I could be sure to avoid interacting with Evolve!
