"Walked in the door to a warm and very clean home. There was a small Christmas tree lit and a sign welcoming us to the home. The house instruction book was very helpful. We all enjoyed having our space. Two of the bedrooms overlooked the Mississippi River. It was a relaxing view. "Having never been in Iowa before it was such a pleasure to spend a very short, unfortunately, time in charming Le Claire. This home is very comfortable and well maintained. It is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood close to the freeway. I wish we’d had time to stay another night or two. The sheets were nice as was the bed. These are thoughtful hosts that even provided for forgotten toiletries. Loved it!"

"Absolutely loved this historic cottage. Oozing with charm! Kathryn has created such an inviting get-away. We were in town for a family Christmas and needed a few extra beds and a quiet space for a break from the exuberance of 10 grandkids. Perfect peacefulness to be found at this cottage.
