The Small Town of Ponce Inlet
The bright, breezy beach town of Ponce Inlet is just what you have been searching for, your Florida beach vacation. Ideally located across the street from the Halifax River and just a few hundred feet from secluded beach access where you will see no cars or condos and very few people. Whether you want to take in the sun on the sand, surf the waves, launch a kayak on the river, hike tree-covered trails, or have a picnic under the shaded dunes, this home offers a plethora of amenities right outside the door. And if you are looking to go on a short bike ride to the end of the island, you can climb the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse (Florida's tallest lighthouse, but an easy climb for adults and children), walk out on to the jetty, choose from many great local restaurants, explore various museums and science centers with interactive exhibits, climb an observation tower or two, find a tree-canopy covered winding dirt road, and so much more.
You have all of these small-town amenities while being just down the road from the world-famous Daytona Beach Main Street Pier, Daytona International Speedway, St. Augustine's historic city, and many forts, Cape Canaveral's Kennedy Space Center (NASA), and tons of other fun activities along the coast. Inland you have direct access to Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios, that are all just a short drive down the interstate.
The town is small enough to get around on a bicycle (including numerous municipal parks, the historic Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, and Lighthouse Jetty). If leaving town, you will want to use your personal vehicle to get to major attractions in Daytona (Daytona 500 Raceway, Mainstreet, Daytona Pier), Orlando (theme parks), Melbourne (NASA Visitor's Center), and St. Augustine (historic fort). The secluded beach access is only 0.4 miles from the house (a leisurely 7-minute walk), with hiking and river access is only 0.3 miles from the house (a leisurely 5-minute walk).
Your Small Town Beachside Hideaway
Immediately upon pulling into the private driveway featuring four private parking spaces, you will notice the owners take great pride in the upkeep of every aspect of this home. Once you make your way past the beautiful green front lawn waiting patiently for your family to have fun playing catch, open the front door (pro tip #1: turn around and catch a view of the Halifax River, you've arrived in paradise!) and be captivated by the Florida-style textures and furnishings, bright colors and fabrics, and the attention to detail throughout the home's beach theme- the perfect home base for your Florida beach vacation.
Your family will enjoy the open layout, which is bright, warm, and inviting, with the split floor plan of the bedrooms to an oversized Florida room, and a breezy, screened-in back porch. There is enough room to keep your entire family entertained in the family room, with a large flat-screen TV and comfortable couches.
For the adventure that awaits you, you'll find a split plan with the Blue Lagoon Master Bedroom on one side, then the Beach Peach Guest Bedroom, and the Rivergrass Guest Bedroom along with a shared bathroom on the other side of the house.
In the Blue Lagoon Master Bedroom, you will find a comfortable king-sized bed, a large flat screen TV (pro tip #2: look out the front window for your romantic view of the Halifax River!), and a private bathroom.
In the Beach Peach Guest Room, you will find two restful twin beds.
In the Rivergrass Guest Room, you will find a cozy queen-sized bed.
The kitchen is large enough to have friends over or easily accommodate your large family, with all new appliances and enough space to hold everyone's food choices (pro tip #3: look out the front window for your relaxing view of the Halifax River!).
