Charming, Newly Renovated, Pet-Friendly Home in the Historic District of NSB

Welcome to this newly renovated bungalow on a quiet street in the Historic District of New Smyrna Beach. Modern farmhouse décor in this open-concept floor plan; new kitchen/dining room with granite, stainless appliances and seating for 6-8; two queen bedrooms (plus 2 single airbed mattresses); two baths; separate laundry room with large capacity washer & dryer. Beautifully landscaped. A fully fenced-in front porch and back yard are perfect for family gatherings, children, and dogs.

Walk to Canal Street in downtown NSB to enjoy the wine bars, breweries, restaurants, art galleries, eclectic shops and Saturday farmer’s market. Drive 5 minutes to Flagler Avenue and the beach for more adventures and fun. Visit the dog-friendly Smyrna Dunes Park, Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, Turtle Mound National Historical Site, St. Augustine’s historic city and forts, or take a day-trip to the many theme parks in Orlando. Whether you want an action-packed vacation or a relaxing retreat, New Smyrna Beach has it all!

***Note that the zoning in our historic district requires 30-day minimum rentals. While we will allow shorter rental periods, we block out a full 30 days so that we have only one renter per 30-day period. Our discount for a monthly stay is 30%. Send an inquiry if you want additional flexibility with check-in/check-out dates and times.

Beautiful cottage in New Smyrna
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage near the historic district! Very easy to get to shopping, restaurants, and the freeway while nestled in a charming neighborhood. The porch was a favorite spot to enjoy coffee or unwind after a day out. Debra really has thought of everything. We highly recommend!!

The Swann beach house was wonderful.
The Swann beach house was a wonderful home base for everything we wanted to do during our month-long stay. Nearly every day we rode bikes across the North Causeway to the beach and enjoyed lunch or dinner on Flagler Ave. The beach house was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The backyard was lush and gorgeous. The pups enjoyed having the fenced in yard to roam around. This was truly a vacation to remember.

Wonderful Stay in NSB
We cannot say enough about our stay in NSB. The property is dog and children friendly. Our Boston Terrier loved the backyard and the walks thru the neighborhood. The kitchen is great and well stocked with cookware. Our daughters family lives nearby and our grandchildren took turns staying with us. They loved the porch the best. Very convenient to walk to downtown NSB. Great restaurants and some are dog friendly. We plan on returning. Thank you Swan family!

Great place to stay!
This house is a great New Smyrna Beach find! The host has made sure that the house has everything a guest would need, down to a list of favorite restaurants. She has also made herself very available to answer any questions and offer help. The location is close (walkable) to downtown and just about a 5 or so minute drive to Flagler Avenue. My husband and I have had a wonderful stay! We'll be back!!

NSB Sweet spot
The air conditioning broke shortly before we were due to arrive. The owner offered us another property to stay at but we just decided to check in two days later as she was able to repair the A/C. She was very accommodating for this bad timing incident and refunded us the two days we could not stay. The house was beautiful and in a great location. Loved the gardens and fenced yard for the dogs. Definitely a keeper.!!!

Great time in New Smyrna Beach, Fl
The property was the nicest we have ever rented. The owner was most gracious. She kept in touch with me throughout the entire month to make sure we had everything that we needed to make our stay more pleasant. The house was extremely clean, well decorated and had all of the essentials plus more to make our stay comfortable. If and when we stay come to stay in New Smyrna we will definently choose to stay at this property.

Wonderful
The house is lovely. It has anything that you would need. The owners thought of everything. The location is close to restaurants, the beach and shopping; you need very little driving time. There was always a breeze on the front porch or the backyard. I can't think of anything I would change. We loved it.

Winter escape!
We have stayed at several rentals over the years. This was the first one that had absolutely everything you could need or want. Beautiful house and yard. Very comfortable beds and furniture. A gated front porch that our dog loved. Very clean!!

Lovely and convenient
This is a quiet neighborhood that is safe to walk through. Convenient to the beach and shopping. The house and garden is beautiful. The front porch is great for people watching and for enjoying the weather. If you forget anything, the owners probably have it available. Totally stocked. Would love to stay here again.

Loved this house!
The house Is even better than the pictures. The kitchen is awesome, and the beds are comfortable. The yard is beautifully landscaped with a fenced in back yard and fenced in front porch to keep our fur babies safe. Great neighborhood for walking. Only 3 short blocks to the shops and restaurants on Canal Street and easy access to both causeways to the beach. I would absolutely rent this place again.

Amazing location
When we chose this property to rent, the location was the main drawing point. (The other was the kitchen!) We wanted to be able to walk to shops and restaurants on Canal Street. It was perfect! We brought our little dog and walked almost 150 miles total during our six week stay. We loved the ease of walking to Corkscrew and Prima for dining outside with our dog. We loved to ease of walking to Blackbeard’s in the other direction for amazing oysters and prime rib. We were on the front porch a lot in the mornings and evenings. The neighbors were wonderful, we enjoyed chatting with them some. I sat on the porch working on crafts at my folding table and was almost embarrassed when folks would walk past and compliment me on the beautiful yard...it is beautiful, but I can’t take any credit! The kitchen was so well appointed that it encouraged us to cook at home some during our stay. You can tell that Debra and Michael love to cook and have high standards in their cookware. Everything is there...from a crockpot to bakeware! If it’s not in the kitchen, you probably don’t need it! We thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Debra and Michael and loved having this home as our little reprieve from colder weather in the mountains where we live. They were wonderful and very responsive with any questions we had. We are to be able to stay again to walk more and enjoy this amazing home.

Awesome vacation rental for family with pets
We really enjoyed saying in this charming bungalow. It was the perfect place to stay with our Boston Terrier. The house was very clean and the location was close to the beach. It was a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Trip
This home exceeded all our expectations, and provided us a wonderful home base for enjoying a week of sunshine and relaxation in New Symrna Beach. Our communication with Debra was delightful, and the renovated historic cottage was updated with every amenity. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were very comfortable with no well planned thought for guests overlooked. The only disappointment was needing to leave! We definitely will be back soon, and hopefully often.

Perfect location, walkability score is high, beautiful decorated and landscaped
We were a group of 5 with 2 dogs and were perfectly accommodated in this exceptional home. The front porch is another living space and thoughtfully gated so the pups could join in. The back yard is so beautifully landscaped that you barely want to go to the beach, which is a bike ride away or a moment on your car. The home itself is a wonderful gathering space as the kitchen is the focal point. You couldn't ask for more gracious hosts, very kind and accommodating. Cant wait to return.
