"What an absolutely delightful getaway! I cannot fault my stay at Evoke. We were greeted with serene music, a bottle of sparkling wine and a rose - very romantic. We had planned to go out for dinner but the villa was so picturesque and well equipped we ended up staying in and cooking."

"I loved the property, and layout of the house was surprisingly modern and functional, just missing a laundry room and internet connection to make it perfect, hence the 4 stars. In saying that, I wouldn’t have minded having no internet, but, also had no phone service which it’s not ideal if we had to deal with an emergency. Every thing else was great!"

"Clean and comfortable, with room for two couples, this cottage has all that you need for a few relaxing days in the Victorian countryside. The attention to detail is an added bonus, with bathroom items provided, plenty of towels, warmly heated on arrival, and a few chocolates to enjoy as you take in the lovely view of the property, with sheep, native birds and rabbits adding to the delightful ambience. "Secret Squirrel is a lovely property and we love its location near the Campapse River walk. We were lucky enough to be met by our friendly host Kirsten. It is very comfortable, clean and welcoming, but it was, however, a little noisy and difficult to get to sleep at night because of nearby airfield or highway, I’m not sure which? Kyneton is a beautiful town and Secret Squirrel is easy to find. "

"Lovely, quiet, peaceful place to unwind from life’s stresses. The tiny house was very cosy for just myself and my Cavoodle. On my travels to the tiny house, Laureen was in contact and made sure I had plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The fire was beautiful! Will definitely return!"

"Serenity was in a beautiful bush setting with easy access to walks in forests and along creek and also a good walk into Daylesford centre. The house was very comfortable- good beds, comfy sofas, good dining area and kitchen well equipped including a great large fridge. Bathroom clean and functional but old style and limited sink space for a larger group. Great warmth from the fireplace and split systems but gas space heater wasn’t working. Would recommend"

"Great location. Clean. Wasn’t a fan of having to pull out microwave plug or kettle to plug in toaster. Found it rather odd that these appliances were more than close to the sink and awarded to get to. The cottage probably would be perfect for a young couple. Older people would prefer privacy when showering. "
