"This is a beautiful old house that has been nicely kept up. Kingfield in a nice small town in western Maine. The hostel is in downtown within easy walking distance of good restaurants. We marked them down slightly because even though we received a nice text from them with how to get into the house, we had to call them a couple of times to find out what room we were in and where restaurants were, etc. It would have been nice if they came and showed us, but it was 4pm on a Friday and they may have...

"Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place."

"We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. "
