Lazy Hog Inn

Unique loft/studio 10 miles west of Danville, VA and 30 minutes east of Martinsville Speedway. Open floor plan with full bed. Living room with sofa, chairs, games. Mini kitchen and full bathroom. Direct TV, WIFI, and fooseball table. Private entrance and private deck overlooking pine forest.
**Please be aware there are 17 steps to get up to the loft. If you have knee or hip problems this may not be suitable for you. Thanks!

So Enjoyable!
I cannot say enough good things about Lazy Hog Inn! The property was so beautiful and cozy; it's everything we could have asked for. Joy and Billy were the kindest, most gracious hosts. We would definitely stay here again and again! Joy and Billy, thank you for letting us stay at the Inn!

Quaint and Inviting
We loved our stay at the Lazy Hog! Joy and Billy were awesome hosts. They make you feel like family. We even spent time with them around the fire pit one evening. It was very nice getting to know them. The loft is cozy. Very rustic and inviting. Lots of fun games to play…a giant checkers game, fooseball, Chinese checkers. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in yard so they could roam. Joy went above and beyond and let them out for us while we were gone all day. I mean, what host does that? I’ll tell you…an awesome one! It was perfect for our needs! We would definitely stay again.

Lazy Hog Inn was fantastic. Cozy and romantic. Close enough to restaurants and the race track, but far enough to be peaceful. Staying here just made our 1st NASCAR race even that more memorable. The hosts Joy and Billy were so friendly. We hope to return someday

AMAZING GETAWAY
What an awesome place to stay! Joy and Billy and incredible hosts and now friends for life. It's very quiet, comfy, love their dogs. I wish I had more time to stay there! Highly recommend eating at Me's burgers, taking the millionaires row walking tour (contact Danville Historical Society), riverwalk trail, tank museum, I can go on and on! Lots to do, great food, people are even more amazing. The hosts even have trails on their property! I got to see a deer while out on one. Well worth it!

Absolutely wondeful stay!
We truly enjoyed ourselves! The couple that runs the apartment is extremely sweet and has very friendly dogs that my fur baby absolutely loved running around and playing with. Amazing property with a fire pit, trails, and adorable cabin setup that is perfect for a couple. Looking forward to staying again!

sweet experience
My Husband & I and our two puppies spent 4 days and couldn't have had a better experience. The cabin is as cute and clean as can be, with a cozy private porch with rocking chairs, lights and a fan for our comfort. Our little dogs had access to a large, fenced yard as well. Joy & Billy were the best hosts we've ever had. I loved my time with Joy while I was on my own as well. We hope they will let us stay again some time in the future. Very happy with our Lazy Hog experience.

Loved the location, and people in Danville are very friendly. The loft itself was very clean and nicely decorated. Improvement suggestions would be a queen bed instead of the full, and maybe a small stove. Otherwise, it's great. Billy & Joy are great people. We had an unforeseen issue and they were right there to solve the problem quickly.

A Hidden Gem and Southern Hospitality
Joy and Billy were so accommodating and hospitable. They were there to greet us when we arrived later than anticipated and helped bring our things to the room. Just the sweetest and kindest couple. We had an unusual request to be able to use their outside hose so we could rinse off Mike's dirt bike after his race on Saturday. Again, so accommodating. Then to top it off, they brought us breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit for Sunday morning since we had an early start for another race. The place was clean and so comfortable and our dog loved the fenced in yard to romp around. We will be back if our travels bring us to Danville again!!

Pictures don't do the property justice!
My husband, dog and I had the most wonderful time at this property! The space is beautiful and so comfortable! Joy was a great communicator and went out of her way to make sure we ALL were comfortable. (Our dog even let himself into their home through the doggy door - and Joy responded by chatting with and loving on Diesel!) As the title indicates, the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful retreat. We have family in the area and plan to make this a regular spot.

Peaceful piece of nature
If you love nature and peace and quiet, this is your place. Very private, upstairs loft and deck over looking the woods. Very clean, everything you need. The Host and Hostess were so kind and very attentive and quick to take care of anything. It was such a pleasure, just wish I had more time to spend there. Would love to go back one day. Highly recommended 👍💖

Wonderful stay!
From the introduction call prior to arrival (asking if we had any special requests to make our stay more comfortable) to our departure from the Inn, Joy and Billy could not have been more gracious hosts. They truly make you feel like family without being intrusive. The cabin was clean, very comfortable, and true to the description on the site. As others have said, it is much larger than the photos show. The covered deck is very private and the rocking chairs relaxing. Upon leaving, I personally witnessed the kind heartedness of Joy with the next arriving guest who had arrived 4 hours early. She smiled and welcomed the next guest (plus her pup) over to her home to relax while she would get the Inn ready for her. That is just something you do not see every day, people being respectful and kind to others for no other reason than "just because". I know it is "just because" Joy and Billy are incredibly warm and caring. I 1000% recommend staying at this property and I would again in the future!

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
The cabin inspired loft is a rustic and cozy one room home away from home with a porch overlooking a beautiful stand of pines. It has every thing you need and is big. It is warm in the cold and cool in the heat. The owners, Joy and Billie, are wonderful and very kind!!!! Great place to relax, start from for adventures in Danville and the greater area, and rest up from attending races Martinsville Speedway.
