"We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The quiet setting with nature was relaxing. The camp site downstream allowed us to hike back to their falls. That was more accommodating for a couple in their 70's than adventuring down the spiral steps at the cabin. Improvements - replace the sofa with recliners that work. The left recliner is broken and was wired fast to keep it from reclining. My wife has some allergies and was bothered with itchy eyes. Not sure why."

"The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew. "

"This is our second trip to this property, and it continues to be a stress free and relaxing excursion. The home is set up with everything you could want, and stuff you didn’t know you needed (like a towel warmer!). And the hosts are the best… friendly, organized, and just good people."

"This was our 2nd time staying at this property, as we enjoyed it so much the first trip! We love that the cabin is quiet and private, while still being just a short drive to vineyards, lakes, restaurants and more. We did have to reset the router a few times as service would cut out, but that’s no biggie (and expected with the amount of wind when we visited). Such a wonderful place to relax, with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to return for a 3rd time!"

"This is a cute old fashioned home. It was comfortable and meet our needs. The jacuzzi was a nice perk and was clean and working. The home has everything you need to cook for a family. The owners are quick to answer questions. Had a great stay here."

"It was clean, tidy, & well stocked with just about anything you could need. They even included some extra personal touches of wine & flowers for our celebration. Host was friendly, & communcation was prompt.They are located across the st. & the pond in the listing is actually on their home property, but we'd recommend this place regardless. Just book it!"

"My sister and I stayed last weekend in October, lucked out with nice weather, enjoyed the green green grass of home cabin, had everything we needed, want to try one of the other 3 properties next year."

"Everything was wonderful and as advertised. The home was decorated beautifully with seasonal décor. They provide all instructions and directions to make your trip excellent. Absolutely gorgeous views. Wish we had a few more days to stay and enjoy! Guess we will have to plan to come back. We even had deer in yard.
