This time my wife and I did not have our usual companion, our Border Terrier with us as we had been attending a wedding. We would love to use the hotel again, but. as there is a no pets policy, then this unlikely to happen.
The refurbished bathroom with walk in shower was excellent with one little fault - the rain shower head really needs to extend further into the shower cubicle!"

"O hotel possui uma bela infra-estrutura. Porém deixa a desejar na qualidade dos quartos. Móveis antigos, banheiros com aparência de sujos e bem antigos.
Para quem vai utilizar as dependências do hotel, vale a pena. Para quem quer conforto no próprio quarto, nao recomendo. Até a televisão parece ter sido uma das primeiras tvs LCDs lançadas (sim LCD e nao led). Para um hotel da rede Mercure o quarto deixa muito a desejar. Nada a reclamar da piscina, spa e outros. Restaurante muito bom também! "
"Another lovely stay in this fabulous pub. Our double room was spotless. Well decorated and some nice little touches inc the well stocked tea/coffee tray. Great location and views to the rear from the beer garden are spectacular. Can’t wait to return soon. Staff so friendly and welcoming too. "

"This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.
