Completely renovated house located directly in the historic Bishop Arts District!! This means HD flat-screen TVs in each bedroom w/ Direct TV, U-Verse internet, extensive security system, modernized kitchen appliances, central air and heat, and spacious off street parking. Less than a block away rests boutique shops, art galleries, and a diverse assortment of restaurants and cafes. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We like the spacious rooms and close walking proximity to the shopping and restaurants. We also love the covered back porch area and the wide parking driveway

Nice house in great location
House was very clean and well-appointed. Beds were comfortable, the showers were very nice, and it had all we needed. The location is superb. It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants, like Lockhart BBQ. Very convenient also to downtown area.

Wonderful property
This is a great place, close to everything walking distance to most. Safe and very clean, Monty and Katrina are wonderful host with many great properties, we will look for them as our host at Christmas, when we come back. The new covered patio was beautiful and so nice to have in the morning and evening 😊

My daughter had a wedding in bishop arts. Location is great. Only thing negative was not much communication with the owner. I did not see a guide so wasn’t sure what I needed to do when we left. But it was a very nice place! Loved it

Very satisfied!
Cute and well-maintained home! Just a very short walk, about a block, from lots of restaurants and shops. Great communication with owners. We would definitely stay here again. Wish we had time to enjoy the covered patio -- looks brand new, but I don't think it is included in the pictures.

I loved the house itself. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was responsive and attentive. In addition, the house is located in a wonderful neighborhood. It is within walking distance to so many great places. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house is in walking distance (~1 block) from Bishop Street, where most of the attractions seem to be. Area is well-lit. House is a nice remodel with good amenities. Although we didn't use it, the covered patio in the back would be a good spot to hang out with a larger group. When we fumbled with the lock box (our fault), the owner showed up in about 10 minutes to let us in and give us a tour. When I let them know on day 2 that we had no hot water, and that the water heater was not on, they replied that they would check it out "ASAP," but that was the last communication I got from them. Since I know how to do it, I lit the pilot and turned on the water heater myself. On our last day, I sent a message asking if we could leave our bags there while we had lunch but got no replies. No big deal--we just took our bags with us. Final note about the area, not the property--we came in on Sunday and left Tuesday, but found about half of the shops & restaurants closed on Sunday and/or Monday. Maybe it changes in the summer, but for an "arts" district, we found only one place with live music and the shops were dominated by expensive imports. The book stores were particularly lame.

Love the Purple House
We are repeat bookers of the Purple House! We come to Dallas for work a few times a year and try to stay here if it's not already booked! This house is very clean, super comfortable and cozy, and in a great location. Communication with the property manager is great.

Perfect location and accommodations for my son’s wedding at the House of Dirt…No need for a car
Excellent property with room for up to 6 comfortably….. just wish it wasn’t as hot during our stay so we could have made use of the outdoor pavilion…. Location to shops and restaurants is a huge plus factor

Great long term stay at house in Bishop Arts
This is a great property perfect for long term and short term stays. So close to main drag of Bishop Arts District. Large drive way accommodated four cars. Lots of supplies including coffee, creamer, toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent are well stocked. Great location, only 15 minutes to down town during rush hour. Clean property with updated appliances and bathroom furnishings. Owner is helpful and responsive. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bishop Arts.

Perfect for Us!
We couldn't have asked for a better home! Clean, and comfortable! We met our cousins here for the weekend to enjoy Big Texas Beer Fest! The Bishops Arts District is a block away, shopping, food and libations! ! Ride share to Downtown Dallas was 15 minutes away! If we head to Dallas again this is where we'd stay!
