"We only stayed one night, but the few hours were disappointing. I was expecting to write a glowing review after my request was granted for an early check-in. The property is gated, and the gate was not working so we were unable to enter upon arrival. The property advertises it can accommodate up to four people, but there were no sheets for the second bed and only two sets of towels for our party of three. "Me and my four friends have been doing an annual “guys getaway” going on six years now. This house was by far the best we have stayed at. The house was exactly as described and pictured. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. The house is in a great location and there were a lot of places to go hiking. Lots of wildlife in the area and every night we saw multiple deer meandering around the yard. We would definitely stay here again."

"The Haven was all that I had hoped for. It's nestled in the woods without being too far away from everything. The house is clean and comfortable. All the extra little touches are what really made it perfect, including the eggs, milk, juice, and other food items, chocolates, drinks and snacks, and outside items. I enjoyed sitting on the covered porch area and relaxing in the cool moutnain air. I will definitely be going back!"

"Staying in Dahmer was an amazing experience. First, the beautifully appointed home made our stay not only comfortable but also surrounded us with lovely furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Dry Run Distillery and the Ananias Pitsenbarger Farm. We are actually the great grandchildren of John Dahmer and Johnny Arvin was our great uncle, so we grew up visiting the Dahmer farm. It was indeed a trip back in time in many ways. This is a gem of a location and near to our hearts. Thank you!"
