One bedroom, one bath Park Model Trailer with screened in porch with great views and easy access to all the Unique Village of Curtis has to offer. Public boat ramp within walking distance. Great fishing on the Manistique Lakes . Erickson Center, Seney Wildlife refuge all just a short distance away. Enjoy the quaint quiet town and your park-like setting overlooking the South Manistique Lake. Boat
rentals on location. Has new carpet in bedroom and living area.
New matress and boxspring. Come check it won't want to leave.
*Please bring your own bedding and towels!!! You could also bring a blow-up mattress for the porch, if you'd like. Unit will sleep 4 with the hide-a-bed.

LOVED IT!!! Perfect for kids and dogs!!!!!
Absolutely WONDERFUL time! This is a small unit, but we had 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 large dogs in the unit and it was just fine. The enclosed front porch area was GREAT for extra space and storage. It was a great location and felt safe and cozy. Rich (owner) was readily available to answer any and all questions we had throughout the stay and even guided my husband to some good fishing spots! The kids had a great time. There was ample room for the dogs to be tied up outside and sniff around and do their "business" and the way the unit is set back from the road, they were not constantly barking at people walking by. The way the unit is situated up on a slight hill, above the main road, set back a bit from other houses, it felt like we had our own little hide out, even tho it is a super convenient location and there were numerous stores, ice cream shops and restaurants within walking distance. We would absolutely stay at this unit again and again! Sitting on the small porch outside sipping coffee and reading a book was great because a nice breeze comes up off the lake and it is so relaxing!! I think that ANYBODY looking for an affordable, pleasant, cozy, convenient, SAFE place to stay, that allows multiple large dogs (which lets be honest, that is hard to find!!!!)....THIS UNIT IS WONDERFUL!!!! It isn't a fancy-schmancy, high class, expensive, high-falooting VRBO. It is cozy, simple, family-oriented, comfortable basic unit that has everything you need and more than enough room to chill and relax with the family and dogs...... RENT THIS UNIT!!! It was perfect!!!! Thank you Rich (and his dog Buddy) for a great week!!!!

Not what we expected
Not well kept. Broken window, most of the window screens were torn. Dirty inside, we had to thoroughly clean when we arrived. No key, couldn't lock doors. Beds were very uncomfortable. Outside was messy and dirty. What bothered me the most is for the price, how poorly maintained the property is. Compared to other places we stay in the area that are 5 star resorts compared to this. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great little place for crashing while exploring the UP. It wasn’t a 5-star hotel. But we weren’t expecting that anyway. Great place for what it is. Easy drive to a lot of the large spots in the UP!

Just the right size
My son and I stayed here for a few days while we explored the UP. It was a nice location to be able to explore the beaches and local towns surrounding. We loved eating at Moofinfries and will definitely stay again🌻

Great stay for vacation
We had a great stay and the best feature was the screened In Porch, away from the mosquitos, at night. Perfect location on a bluff. This is the UP so don’t expect anything like a hotel. Has all your necessities. Coffee maker, toaster oven, range. The microwave was beeping an error code if left plugged in. So we just plugged it in when we needed it. May want to invest in new one, when able. Otherwise we would stay again. Dog friendly! Thanks to Rich for a nice place.

Nothing fancy but nice
Overall we had a good time. Quiet and relaxing. Fairly nice, quaint, not spotless but clean. Nothing fancy but with the price, I wasn’t expecting fancy. If you’re a coffee drinker make sure you bring your own coffee maker or go down the street to the coffee/Ice cream shop.Suggestion to owner, invest in a coffee maker. Goodale’s Ice Cream was the best and the ShipWreck Bar had fantastic burgers!! If you’re looking for secluded, private, beach/swimming/fishing, definitely will need to find a different place to go. The “nice view of the lake” that someone posted is from your window across the street, with no public access. That was very disappointing because the description and review made it sound like it was on the lake, not across the street. Not secluded. Right on Main Street which isn’t real noisy but still cars & traffic going by. Weather was perfect for swimming if we had been able to but we did a lot of sightseeing and made the best of our stay but will find something else next time on the lake.

It's well worth the 75 bucks per night, anyone that gave a bad review needs to stay in the city and don't come to the UP, it's not the $150 a night hotel you get in the city with room service but it's a nice clean cabin in the UP and for that price you can't beat it, I'll stay here again

Poor communication & non-functioning toilet
I was extremely disappointed with our stay. We were so excited to stay in Curtis (such a cute little town) and explore the UP, however, the toilet did not work for our entire stay :( I messaged the owner on day 1 and even tried to call 2-3 times to let him know and see if we could get help! But he did not reply at all! Not even an apology after the fact.. The furnace also didn’t work, but there were space heaters which helped some. I was also disappointed in the overall VRBO support as neither the website nor the app provided us with an easy way to get assistance.

Not for the faint of heart
This is a decent property located in Curtis Michigan, but the owner could improve it with some TLC. There were a lot of things that were not in great condition, like the blinds throughout the place. Lots of spiderwebs throughout. Not sure the key actually locked any of the locks in the house, at least I couldn't find the one that it locked. The kitchen was well stocked, the couch and bed were nice. Great water temps in the shower. Can't beat the location.

Toilet issues
Got in late and house was cold. Furnace not working but there was a small space heater. Owner said someone was scheduled to fix furnace later in the week. This was Saturday afternoon. I noticed the toilet would not flush. Notified owner via VRBO messaging. Called next day but it was a business phone and we were in a holiday weekend. Toilet went more than 24 hours with no repair and before I could reach owner. VRBO was zero help. My adult kids rented another property at this point. I might have stayed but owner gave no apology and was rude. I felt badly used when I packed up and left. Toilet was still not flushing too good. Ruoned holiday weekend.

Great spot with some of the best fishing around... if everything was not "Private" with no Public Beaches or Swimming within 30 miles. If you have some water craft and able to get out on the Lake would have a great time. But like I said, this is not for a family to stop and just enjoy the lakes.

Bright and breezy park model mobile home. Full size fridge and gas range were much appreciated. Kitchen well equipped. Home was clean, everything worked well, views of the lake from enclosed porch, good breeze kept us cool. I would recommend to families with kids, large grassy lawn, quiet location well back from main road but walk to shops. Really enjoyed our stay.

No contact from landlord at all. Husband and father in law checked in to find house was filthy, mold in shower and toilet completely plugged and unusable. Did not stay the second night because it was so bad. Pretty disappointed.

The worst accommodation that we ever had!
We booked for 5 nights, but stayed only one night, because of the bad condition of that accommodation. We got a refund, but less than for 4 nights. We travel a lot, but this was the worst accommodation that we ever had. The water stinks of rost, the windows were never cleaned, the restroom was dirty, etc. The owner told us that he will stop to rent this accommodation, so we can only warn.

Perfect place to stay
We loved this rental! I am very picky on places we stay and I don't like any sign of anyone being here before. This place nailed it. Very clean, set of keys awaited us inside. Fairly quiet area too for being surrounded by things. All rooms were very clean! It could definitely fit 4 (or even more) people to sleep! Big enclosed porch for an air mattress or whatever, plus good size living room and couch. I will highly reccomend this place to everyone. A lot of cool places are all within an hour of driving too!

Not a park model but a dump!
Disgusting filthy and totally rundown ! Try to open screen door, can't due to bottom of door broken in half! Now enter porch where he keeps his junk. Go into home try to open blinds and windows, pull blinds cord and blinds fall onto the floor, windows wont open. Go to bathroom where he left a stack of towels with a big greasy, filthy hand print. It would need lots of work to get it up to an old model trailer. By now my wife is in tears. Pack the car and leave. No need to turn in keys. He said he hadn't seen them in years. If you love filthy and run down this old park model is for you. Hasn't been cleaned in years. His boat shop is a hundred feet away so relaxing in peace can't happen with air tools an 4 wheelers pulling boats all around. Truly sad due to its great location. Glad we booked this hole and paid for it before seeing it. Should never pay for it up front then you have no recourse. Must be an old, old set of picture to go with an old model. Very deceiving. Asked for any refund. No response. Surprise

Not worth the money.
VERY DISAPPOINTING. My wife had to clean the refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, bathtub and floors. She mopped the kitchen floor 5 times to get it clean. All of the windows either had broken or no blinds. There was no keys to lock the doors when we left for the day. The place has potential but needs lots of improvements.
