"My daughter and I checked in to view Laura’s adjacent properties for my daughter’s wedding. We booked the bunkhouse only so we could view the manor house. Laura is very accommodating. The hot water was not working in the bunkhouse. She gave us the option to have someone come fix the hot water or for us to check into the six sisters lodge on the property for the remainder of the stay. We had a 4 year old with us, so we chose the lodge to give him more space. Bunkhouse is lovely, but small. ...

"The home was perfect for our group. Large, spacious indoor and out. Everything is meticulously maintained and tastefully decorated. Plenty of gathering spots inside the home for entertaining. The grounds outside are also well maintained and offer lots of opportunities for activities. Highly recommend this property!"

"This house was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch with the cool breeze and wildlife near by. Its in a lovely area on the sound. I recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a place near the outer banks but away from the hussle and bustle of the town/city."

"Our stay at “Always Sonny” was a wonderful experience! The home was clean and beautiful and stocked with basic necessities. The view off the back deck was amazing. Communication with the host was easy and the instruction's prior to arrival and upon departure were complete and clear. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful view and water front. Nice and private location. House could use some TLC but okay. Water smells, bought water to drink. Bought light bulbs only 3 working ones on arrival. Luckily the wind shifted getting rid of the biting flies for the week. Could use outdoor lights for night time. Overall okay experience the water and view made it worth while."
