"What a great property and gorgeous area! The cabin is a gem- everything was as described or better! My son loved the game room and my wife adored the hot tub under the stars. Loved the view of the river and mountains in the distance. We even saw a bear on a hike elsewhere in the county!"

"The location is private. The cabin is nice. The towels are a little lacking. They were super thin and frayed. There is no ice maker so that would have been nice to know in advance. The internet is pretty slow. Were the tv not dependent on internet because it’s all streaming it wouldn’t be a problem. Hot tub was nice. "

"My family and I traveled to Powhatan for a wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek. The house and the town had such a beautiful small town vibe that was such a perfect place for us to hang out and get ready. We were able to enjoy the owners restaurant, which was right across the street, and an adorable coffee shop. There was also a great park nearby with walking trails and playground for the kids. We truly enjoyed our stay! "

The sunsets were colorful and the clear moonless nights burst with stars, especially looking up from the hot tub. " The property provided everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time with our family members and the space was comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. We had a great walk over to the retreat center nearby where we saw deer and a spectacular view of the James River. For adventure and groceries we went to nearby Scottsville where we enjoyed dining and shopping. The wedding was wonderful and the property was perfect to reconnect with family during our stay."

"The property needed a cleaning on the inside… cobwebs and overall dust. It seemed that no one had stayed in a while and was left as is. We had to ask the owner for washcloths because they were not provided with towels. WiFi was working half the time and was Roku so limited to watch anything. We will not stay here again but it could be a sweet place if adjusted."
