"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Lake O’Brien! The cabin was a perfect fit for our family of four. The fire pit, paddle boat, and pontoon were perfect for a MN lake week. "Rush lake is a beautiful spot, nice large property. Lots of space in house, nice to have the separate bunk house (no electricity out there though, so battery operated fans might be a good idea). Docks are nice, not a good swimming spot but that is common on these lakes, several good sandy places to boat to. "We really enjoyed the cabin! Our family went for Thanksgiving and had a great time watching Christmas movies, playing games and being by the lake. I’m sure it would be very beautiful to stay in the summer! The cabin is well equipped with dishes, silverware, wonderful bedding and cozy blankets! The master bedroom also has a rocking chair and two toddler beds, which is perfect for a family! We were very impressed with all the room for people to sleep and the living room fire place was wonderful!...

"We stayed in early June and it was cooler and grayer than we hoped for. But with the hottub on the property and kayaks we brought along, we swam, paddled, and played in the sand- if we got cold, the hottub was available and ready. We even put a tote by the hottub for the kids to rinse their feet before climbing in :-) We were able to rent a boat with the assistance of the property management and it was perfect! The boat lift didn’t work, which was frustrating, but the dock was fortunately large...

"Cozy and well stocked. The two cabins held our 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 3 to 14) with plenty of room. House layout allows people to have their own space. Plenty of outdoor seating for all. "We enjoyed our time at this cabin. We had two adults, two teens, and two elementary aged kids in the cabin, and it was just enough room for our family of 6.
